    Here's the latest 4k image from vix.
    Don't have that receiver so no way of checking.
    Format your usb key first then extract the image out to it.
    Let us know how you get on

    Try this:

    Quote

    [reader]
    label = skyukHD
    protocol = mouse
    device = 003:003
    detect = cd

    Reason behind the change is because this is the address where the reader currently resides.

    You use an ftp program on your laptop to transfer the config file to your receiver.
    There are a few, dreambox control center, filezilla, winscp.
    Start the program, enter your ip of your receiver into the "host" section followed by user (root) and password (dreambox or whatever the image has specified as the password)
    You can then navigate to the required destination and drag your config files across to that directory.
    By right clicking on the required config file when it has been transferred, you then can set permissions/attributes (normally 644 is good enough for config files)

    winscp can be got from here:

    A good starting point is to understand the basics.
    This thread will help you out.

    The box alone won't open those channels, you'll need a share from someone to do so.
    If only a few of your subscription based channels are gone, you'll probably just need to rescan your receiver, but if all of them are blank (excluding free to air channels /BBC /Itv etc), you'll require a share from someone or a genuine subscription card.
    Scanning is normally under:
    Menu - system - service searching - automatic scan (but may be slightly different depending on what image is installed)

    Vix4 may be the problem as it's modified to run on your box.
    Have you tried a different image written for your box (atv and hdmu do one i think)
    Also, make sure your port is opened and forwarded to your receivers ip.
    This website will check if your port is open

    You'll also need decent upload speed, especially on hd content.
    Another thing to consider is weather your receiver is fast enough , I haven't much experience with amiko's but I'm sure someone will tell you if it's possible with those receivers.

    You can use autobouquetsMaker to create a Saorview bouquet in the same way you create uk bouquets.
    Saorview will be there under providers in autobouquetsMaker configuration (will only show if a dvb-t tuner is installed)
    You could also manually add it also but you'll still need a dvb-t tuner to scan for services

    Set them up in tuner configuration first.
    Then you could configure autobouquets to add them (if available) or load a channel list (catseye's etc) using dbedit or dreamset.
    Or just download them from our addons panel (installed)

    I don't think ferdi's answer is a useless one, only pointing out that tuner modules are available for your receiver.
    With one installed (if your slot is unoccupied) you may not encounter the issues your having.
    I too have had this problem (solo2) with blackhole recognizing my dvb-t tuner and some oe alliance images not (due to drivers not being compiled for the image kernel)
    Only real thing I can suggest is to try updating the image (if you haven't already done so), then look on the image feeds for your driver or try a previous release and install the driver from the feeds although with obh, I think your only limited to two releases, 0.4 and 0.6 on your solo4k

    Try a different image or different key, (i had a problem with one of the latest image releases only yesterday and just installed a previous version)
    You could look into the folder directory and rename the file "force" to "noforce"
    This will require you to press the power button to flash the receiver when "usb" appears in the display, then upon rebooting , it won't try to flash again (although I doubt this is really your problem)

    Is the image a backup from a previous receiver?
    It's resolution may be set too high for your tv (1080p, think sly use 1080i although I may be wrong.)
    If you have a scart or rca/phono/composite cable, use this to connect to your tv and have a look at what the receiver resolution is set to and try it at 720p
    Alternatively, try a different tv to view your receivers resolution.
    Another hdmi cable may also be worth a shot if the above info does not help.

    You should be able to get the driver from the image feeds.
    On a mips box, this is the procedure,
    Hit menu - plugins and green to download plugins from the image feeds.
    Enter into drivers menu and scroll down to rt 3070 (it contains the driver for 5370 also) and download it.
    You may at this point have to remove driver rt2800 (if installed) as sometimes it conflicts. (menu - plugins and then red to remove plugins, enter into drivers and if it's there, it may need to be removed)
    Exit out.
    Then power off and on receiver (with dongle attached) and it should then appear in your network configuration.
    All image dependent of course (may not work on a patched/ported/modified image and could/ may corrupt your image)

    Should do, you won't know for sure unless you give it a go.

    And which Linux OS name and version can run normally on this PC.

    Give ubuntu latest server release a go to see, if the x64 won't install, try the x86 (32 bit) version.
    Both can be found here:
