Your using newcamd protocol to connect john (not cccam) who is inside your network.
Have you a cccam entry in your oscam.conf file (it isn't normally there if your using oscam/cccam combination as cccam takes care of this as the server listen port)
Other than that, just use newcamd protocol but you'll have to open 12233 port in your router for outside peers to connect.
Post up your configs, they'll give an idea about what's going on (hash # out sensitive info) -
Have you updated anything recently (oscam in particular)?

Did you use thatfellows guide to setup your server?
Have you anything like this in /etc folder, crontab?QuoteDisplay More59 23 * * * root /var/script/oscam-backup.sh
57 06 * * * root killall cccam_2.1.3
57 06 * * * root killall oscam

57 06 * * * root /var/script/keyupdater.sh
58 06 * * * root /usr/local/bin/oscam -b
59 06 * * * root /usr/local/bin/cccam_2.1.3

*/5 * * * * root /var/script/OscamCheck.sh
03 07 * * 6 root /var/script/LogCleanUp.sh >> /var/cccamlog/CleanUp.logIn yellow, stops cccam and oscam.
In red , starts oscam and cccam.
In green, cleans up cccam log (maybe set it to clean daily to avoid large logs, replace 6 with * and adjust times to suit your needs)
Full cron explanation here:

The user thats connected to oscam is probably An N-line to connect CCcam.
You should add f -lines to your cccam.cfg for users to access your server (or get rid of cccam altogether and just use oscam)
This may explain it a bit better:

Vix don't officially support this receiver.
The image may be modified xp100 image, which when updated online, may cause your receiver to crash).
OpenATV do support this receiver however, you can get an image from here: (select airdigital, then your model)
http://linuxsat-support.com/view.php?pg=openatv
Abm should create its own list (your channel lists that your trying to add may be outdated or you may have a problem with your satellite alignment)
I have attached a guide on how to set AutoBouquetsMaker (ABM) up, it's for VIX but the setup procedure is very similar for ATV (thanks to pheonix, original author)
ABM can be downloaded from the image feeds (go to plugins then press blue button, and it is in system plugins , as far as I can remember, if not, try extensions).
Abm is a different plugin to LraiZer Autobouquets.
Latest channel frequencies can be found here:Quote -
Have you tried streaming from the openwebif?
Is this a backup image from here?

If so, and you have a vu-duo, it's the wrong image for your box, its for the solo2. -
You could always try a manual scan to see if it will work your receiver (probably take a long time and you'll end up with a sore finger, pressing the power/vol button frequently)
There was a seller in the past on ebay selling these as a replacement remote.Codehttps://www.amazon.co.uk/RM-Series-RMC12406-Remote-Control/dp/B00IIMYZI0?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0
Here's the original listing: -
Is there a "learn" function on your universal remote?
Normally it saves a function (key press) from your original remote onto an assigned key on your universal remote. -
I'd assign static ip's to each one in your router (sometimes called static lease).
You may have an issue with mac addresses (check your router for connected devices)

Is it a share your using or a payserver?
What signal strength have you got on the affected channels?
Does it happen on free to air channels? -
Pm me your details Honcho.
-
Have a look at your signal strength/quality.
Are you using it cable (dvb-c) or terrestrial (dvb-t/t2)?
If it is for terrestrial, you may have a problem with your aerial installation or cabling/rf plugs etc.
Your signal strength/quality should tell you this (if it is poor) -
Looking to swap a Dm 500-C for satellite version (Dm 500-s or DM 800 etc) with cash adjustment your way (depending on model).
Receiver powers up and displays menu.
I'm not in a cable region so unable to test it further.
Will post to anyone interested where upon they can test it to make sure all is well with it before posting back swapped receiver (very trusting, I know)
No remote included I'm afraid.

Glad your sorted, thread closed

May need to restart oscam for it to take effect.
Also you can tailor "numusers" further in someone's user account -
You may be getting the user/ password wrong (they are case sensitive).
Some mobile/tablet auto caps the first letter, and some autofill, something to doublecheck.
