Put that line into all your readers and you won't get any hop 2 or 3 (reshares) from your peers, only their local cards.
Or just put that line into the reader thats giving you the unwanted reshares/hops.
Another way to do it would be to block unwanted providers from your peers. (the ones giving you the high ecms on hop 2-3 etc)
I haven't tried it myself but looks fairly simple.
Here is a guide (although written for oscam/cccam setup, can't see why it wouldn't work with oscam only setup)

    Does your line include reshare?
Can you still connect to him using his host name?
If not, his ip may have changed and he hasn't updated his dns to reflect it.
If you can connect to him through his host name, then god knows where your line is and at this stage, i'd query it or bin him.

my first questions is i can see peers ip addresses, but is there a way i can see which country there in?

    Try this:

also i have a peer with a local card,(germany) when i turn off my other readers and connect to his local the ecms are very low 150 200 but somtimes take around 5 seconds to clear once the sat is locked, when i turn my other readers back on and turn to a german channel oscam picks a hop 3 with high ecm's, i just dont get it.

You are gettings someones reshare. If you only want local cards from peers just put this into their oscam.server entries
    cccmaxhops=0

and my last, is cachex as easy as just swapping lines and putting them in oscam as readers/users?

These threads will explain it in detail and how its set up:

It sounds like your memory may be filling up.
Make sure your epg is stored on your hdd.
It may run smoother if you can install a usb (as well as hdd) and have your picons/epg and swap file strored on it rather than hdd.
Your using your hdd only for timeshift/recording then.

What image are you running? Any hdd attached to it?

Have tried them all but keep going back to blackhole as i also have it on a solo2.
Tested a 500gb hdd for timeshift as well as a 8gb usb key and it didn't have a problem with them.
It's very handy that the two usb inputs are at the rear, nothing sticking out the front.

I think the newer ones (some have little bubble level) just clip on over the lnb arm and are held in place with a small plastic push in dowel.
The older ones pushed in through the end of the lnb arm and were held in place by a longer plastic dowel.
Either way, its in the right position when the hole on the lnb plastic bracket lines up with the hole on the lnb arm.
If the dowel is lost / perished, a small nut and bolt should do the trick.
The metal arm on the newer dish's should lock into place once pulled downward. (you can see this happening from the rear of the dish.)
Truth be told, a picture wouldn't do any harm to be honest.
If the lnb plastic bracket is broken, they can be bought quite easily but if the dish is in bad shape, a new dish may be the way to go.

they were doing the business with good quality boxes which worked and then they wanted direct bank transfer only and no units have been shipped since. just a lot of people who lost money.

Will be next to impossible to get monies back from these scumbags.
Once they changed from paypal to direct bank transfers, alarm bells should have been ringing (in my opinion)

the Cline would be C: myserver ###### example example1 which is then installed in dreambox

    Thats correct, cline would be
    c: myserver port example example1
Where port is the server listening port in your cccam config file (i think it may default to 12000 but you can use any one you like as long as you change it in your cccam config file)
    EG:
    c: myserver 12000 example example1

If you plan to share outside your network, this is the port that needs to be open in your router in order to let peers connect to you, and your talking about getting a dns at this point too.

Have a look here for an explanation of the line makeup and also on how to lock a line to a specific dns, package, reshare etc

Also, i normally change the au entry to the reader label you want to update

    Change to :

    Quote

    au = ***uk

Same as reader label (although i still thinks it updates with "1" as an entry)

    Satellite receivers or iptv boxes?

trial a box and promote it as i am installer, and it works very well, yes all the *** channels are there, movies sport etc etc

Sounds like a payserver or resellar from the outset.
It's a shame people get conned , but the "trader" you encountered are 10 a penny, only interested in getting your cash.
I can guarantee you that they won't abide by any trading standards, honour payments etc, why would they?, when they are selling boxes with illegal subscriptions.
Always purchase a box from a reputable trader (our forum sponsor is top class) and get a valid subscription.

Most of them are fairly similar.
I prefer blackhole but it is a matter of opinion really.
Vix has autobouquets built in but a good alternative is AutoBouquets LraiZer.

Cool tv guide is a nice graphical epg

All can be downloaded from our addons panel direct to your receiver (along with channel lists / cams etc)
    http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=30475
Have a look here for what images are available for the zero at the moment. (maybe vix will be available soon)

Try dreamboxedit to alter your channels/bouquets etc.
I find it a very handy tool for editing / removing all unwanted channels.
    It can be found here:

A youtube tutorial can be found here (in german with english subs):

    Which tutorial did you follow?
From the sounds of it, you have the oscam/cccam server setup, if your talking about f lines and c lines.
    http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=16479
If so, and all you use is oscam on your dreambox, maybe you should consider an oscam only configuration on your new server:
