If you backup to hdd, you then can ftp it to your desktop using filezilla/dcc etc.
Should be in media/hdd folder (i think)
You then can put it onto a usb drive. -
I think this is the only one out there at the moment
NOTE: I do not own this model and have not/ can not test this firmware.
Install it at your own risk.
Back up your channel lists/firmware etc before you try it as it may delete them.
Before you try it, drop by introductions as per forum rules.

Try:
User: root
Password: dreambox -
I think you only need it if your local card is running in your receiver (so you probably can get rid of it)
It's explained in more detail here:

Your in the right site.
Choose your image first from here:
http://linuxsat-support.com/forumdisplay.php?f=900
Then download the linuxsat addons for channel lists/ cams etc.
It can be found here:

Dunno what way they have it configured in spain.
The only way for me to open any ports was to get off the "communial" ip and have a static one assigned although it was like that from the beginning and only found out about it when i needed to open ports.
Sounds like something different is afoot where you are and maybe they only have a temporary solution in place to provide phone/bb after the storm.
Only way to find out is to ring em and let em know that you can't connect to your "home server/ cloud" and what seams to be the problem.
Probably will sort itself out during the week, if something has blown etc at their end due to the weather conditions.
I would try another router if you could get hold of one tbh.
My brother had damage due to electrical storm last week and lost his tv, diseqc switch, vu uno and router.
House insurance is gonna cough up though. -
Yes, delete the existing cccam/linuxsat addons in temp folder and ftp the mips32el one over to it.
Try an install it from the receiver menu and it should appear in your plugins.
Run the plugin and you should see the option to install the cams for blackhole.
If your in trouble, i may be able to teamviewer you in a bit. -
Here is the linuxsat support addons

You need the mips32el.ipk one (enigma2) -
Old dish, looks like a mk 2/3 from the lnb holder.
Time to go shopping alright.
They normally disintregrate at the bolt between the lnb arm and the reflector bracket.
New sly dish should cost no more than €30 (quad lnb with nice bubble level included)
Dunno if the pole is good enough for motorised setup though.
If it were me, i'd mount it where old dish is.
Saves the hastle of running cables/ trying to adapt a bracket to mount motor on pole. -
Could it be your firewall?
Dunno of any workaround only that you change/ring isp.
Maybe someone else may have an idea.
I had similar problems with isp but i am on fixed antannae wireless network (no landline)
Only way out for me was to stump up an extra €100 for a static ip.
Well worth it , looking back now but a pain when i was told. -
Try opening a different port to rule out your router/ isp etc
-
I think you have to go into "manually add ipk packages" in addons menu (although i'm not in front of a receiver now) after you ftp it over to temp folder.
Then , in cam manager (blue button,) right arrow to select cam.
It should have installed from the linux addons panel , if you have installed it (under blackhole cams)
Ftp the linuxsat addons panel to temp folder.
Then , on receiver look for "manually install ipk / add ipk) under addons menu (i think, its there somewhere) and select linuxsat addons and after installation, reboot receiver.
Upon restart, hold blue button down or go into plugins and scroll down to linuxsat addons and hit ok.
There are a number of handy tools / channel lists / cams etc on the addons plugin.
Just select the cccam version for blackhole and it will auto install it for you.
Hope it helps. -
Been using a solo2 with vix/bh for well over a year and am very happy with it.
Extra tuner is handy and the ability to add a usb dvb-t tuner for saorview alongside a usb for epg/picons with an internal 500gb hdd is a major plus.
VFD is also a nice feature.
I think it is worth the extra ££
That said, i don't have a solo se though. -

Try updating your oscam, may help. -
For a motorized setup, the pole really needs to be perfectly plumb, otherwise you will keep coming off the arc and miss out on satellites.
I'd doubt if an electricity pole has been perfectly plumbed.
Best get a T and K bracket set as there is scope to position the pole perfectly plumb. -
Omnikey 3121 works a treat for me on oscam-cccam ubuntu server.

You may also want to install multiquick button to map the cool tv guide to the remote "epg" button.
I think the default remote button to start cool tv guide is the red one.
MultiQuick can be found on the linux addons:

It's working here but i'll attach the image:
-
Will do.
Be a week or so though.
Away from home atm.
