  • Sly Card stopped to update entitlement, why?

    Hi, have had a DM800 with my own Sly card clearing Sly and updating entitlements without any issues since a few months now, I have noticed that it has stopped updating entitlements and they will run out in a few days, below are my configs ... I had oscam 6022 now updated to 6688 just as a precaution.


    I have restarted the box and checked the files and everything seems ok.


    Any Idea what can be happening?

    OK so as long as I keep my card on my own local network with no third party access I should be ok, right ?


    I prefer no to use whitelists since I will have to update them from time to time in order to be sure that I can open all channels.

    Hi there, thanks to this forum I have a DM800 reading and updating a Sly card, it is my own local network with no external sharing or clients. The card updated itself once, so I guess that it will continue to do so in the future, display is done trough DVBapi.


    Now, my question is as follows: I have, following this forum advice, blocked unknown and global EMM's, but I am not used any whitelisting, my reader configuration is as follows:

    Thanks Master G, looking at the post seems that the improvement is marginal, actually I am using oscam as a client on the second box because I like the webif, I wondered if linking both Oscams trough CCCam was the best option.

  • Best oscam to oscam protocol ?

    Hello, I have managed to get a sly uk card working with Oscam and dvbapi, now I want to share with a second box in the same network that card, I have been able t do it already configuring the 2nd box as Oscam client with CCCam protocol logging on the first box.


    Since Oscam can use multiple protocols, what is the best way/protocol to communicate two boxes with Oscam?

  • Will this setup update my Sly Fre*sat card ?

    Hello, a couple of weeks ago thanks to the help of Ten Below and Master G, I manage to get a Sly Freesat card working on a DM800HD with Oscam and dvbapi + Openpli. No issues http://linuxsat-support.com/os…card-reader-can-done.html


    My question is auto-update, when I inserted the card, two weeks ago, it showed the entitlements as expiring on 2011-12-13, they are exactly the same right now. Below is my Oscam setup, I have a couple of questions:


    How often the entitlements gets updated ?
    Is this setup correct ?


    My oscam is version 1.20 r6012 and seems to read the BoxID correctly.

    Rigth, so you mean that no boxid is needed in oscam server ? and no "au=slot1" will be needed in dvbapi user?


    I guess that at the very least AU=1 will be needed on the oscam.conf dvbapi section.

    Thanks Ten, I did what you sugested and indeed it worked. I have one last question,:


    Will my FTV card update entitlements with dvbapi as client passing EMM to the card?


    I will read somewhere that mgcamd will be needed as reader to update entitlements, I don't know if this is still the case.

    Hello there, I have a sly card that only allows me FTV I want to use this card on a DM800HD, no sharing, no client, just for my usage.


    Can just Oscam be used as a reader for the card and to allow me to view FTV programs, or do I need to use Oscam+Cccam anyway?


    I just need to setup my rig as simple as possible but I need the card to update entitlements.


    Using a sly original receiver is ruled out since I want to use the PVR functions of the DM800.

    Hello, I have been using a Slyuk card with the internal reader of a DM800HD(clone) and oscam for a few weeks now, I read somewere that is not safe use the internal reader of a DM800HD due to voltage issues and a smargo reader has to be used instead.


    Can I use safely the internal reader of a DM800HD (clone) to read a Slyuk card?

  • Filtering tiers from cline ?

    Another solution will be to give preference to the nline connected to the oscam+local card over the cline, problem is that to the cccam my local card is hop1 since is served locally from oscam. Therefore if cccam is reading a cline hop1 card, cccam does not give preference to nline with local card over cline.


    Any way to, regardless hops, give preference to nline over cline ?

    That didn't work, nothing was filtered .. the only thing that seems to have any effect is { 0963:0 } it filters the whole caid and reverts to the nline.


    Can I just filter just channel by channle to revert to the nline?, how do I get the sid to filter by means of C: address port user pass no { 0:0:1 }{ 0963:000000:sid }, will that work ?

  • Filtering tiers from cline ?

    Hello, I have oscam + cccam with a local caid:963 being read with oscam. I have a N line to read the local and a Cline.


    How can I filter a particular tier from cline so that is read directly from the local?


    My cline looks like this:


    C: address port user pass no {0:0:2, 0963:0003, 0963:000b, 0963:001d, 0963:b765, 0963:b766, 0963:b772, 0963:b773, 0963:b860 }


    on line that I tried to get from the address everything ,but from the local just the FTV channels, but it does not work, it tries to get all the ecm's from the external server.


    Any Idea what is wrong?

  • Install oscam from scratch on DM800HD

    Thanks mate, so if understood correctly the file oscam-svn5459-mips-tuxbox is the binary itself for the DM800 but it lacks all the installing and blue pannel (start/stop) scripts, am I correct?


    The Image I am using does not have the oscam+cccam option on the addons pannel so I will download another cam and modify the scripts to acomodate the oscam.


    Is there a generig install package ipk with oscam+cccam to use on any image ?
