    You will have to connect with ethernet cable to do this.

    It is now connecting with password blank but when I go to fpt no files on the zero are showing and on the bottom of the page where files should be it says to log in with user and pass

    After putting openvix 4.2.001 on a vu zero and trying to set it up using DCC but can't connect to it .I have tried leaving the password blank and used dreambox as password but still can't connect.Should I be able to use DCC to setup this image ,I have no problem with blackhole images

    Thank's robocop, I have been using backup images on both boxes so will try other blackhole images

    robocop I have been using mckee25 images on solo 2 and robijay on zero for a while and am very happy with them. My only problem is when I load channel list's from catseye. all sat's for motorized dish on the solo 2 or 28E on the zero after a day or two some of the channels go <n/a>.I know when I use auto boquets I will get the channels back on 28E But why do I loose them on the catseye channel list ?.

    I'm using bh 2.1.7 backup image on a vu solo 2 and vu zero and I keep loosing some channels.The same is happening on another Solo 2 and on 2 vu Zero's that I have set up for friends.When you go into a channel list some of the channels only show <n/a> and if you click on it you get "Service unavailable Check tuner configuration".If I reload the channel list using DreamboxEdit all the channels will open but will go again next day .I had the same problem with bh 2.1.5 .Are other VU users having the same problem with their boxe's ? Is it only happening on bh images?Am I doing something wrong ?

  • Losing Sat Position's on zero

    I'm using Blackhole 2.1.5 backup image by Robijay .The problem is it loses most of the sat positions that are stored after a few months .It has happened on 2 other zero boxes that friends have also.Is this a zero fault or or an image fault

    This is what I did


    usr/keys folder. double click twice on mgcamd configs BlackHole to open it,click on mg_cfg and click on edit ,put in receiver ip address as below


    # Log option, summ of:
    # 00 off
    # 01 network udp log
    # 02 log to console
    # 04 file, appended ! delete it by yourself, before it eat all your hdd
    # + IP udp-port log-file-name
    L: { 02 } 192.168.1.4 28007 /tmp/mgcamd.log
    click Save and Exit. Press Blue button on handset to open Black Hole Blue Panel ,Ok Mgcamd 1.38 to Restart Mgcamd
    Still not working. Must be doing something wrong

    master G.I downloaded mgcamd configs BlackHole.rar,opened it, FTP to /usr/keys folder.I had to double click twice on it to open it in the keys folder to see newcamd.list ,I have put 4 working lines which I know are working with CWS = line and deleated n: I have rebooted the box and also pressed blue button and ok Mgcamd 1.38.When I check the keys folder the 3 files are there "cccamd.list , mg_cfg and newcamd.list" and my lines, but still will not work.What am I doing wrong ?

  • Signal problem

    I'm having the same problem with a solo 2 and a vu zero.Both boxes are in different houses.The tuning setting is set to auto but it makes no difference ,one day I will loose some sport channels ,put on a new channel list and the next day all movie channels except Showcase are gone and the sport's are back

  • vu duo signal problem

    I'm using bh 2.1.5 backup image on a vu solo and vu zero and I keep loosing signal on ss channels with the last week or so.the signal strength goes from 90% to 22 ,16 and 0%. At the moment SS news and 5 are the only ones working .I also have a Spiderbox 9000 and have no problem with the sport channels all of them are working and both the spider and vu have the same frequency 12109 H 27500.Could it be a problem with the image is the problem
    ps I'm not trying to highjack the thread just thought the problems may be related

  • Technomate v-box 2

    I'm using a jager superjack 24 inch actuator to drive the dish.Going east or west getting er2, have disabled limets done reset and it makes no difference.I reckon my actuator is the problem and will buy a new one for € 74. If anyone can save me €74 that would be great
