Please explain a little bit more about your setup and what you are tryng to acheive. Not sure if you mean streaming to a 3G device, using a 3G modem with your receiver, what device you have, etc.

I have the same problem. I've read that the format for the HDD should be Ext, and if its showing as vfat than you need to initialise it as Ext (mine is showing as Vfat). Anyone know how this is done?? Strange though as i am able to record onto HDD? But when i try to activate timeshift "automatically start timeshift after 5 seconds" the message 'the directory /hdd/timeshift/ is not a EXT2, EXT3, EXT4, or NFS partition. Make sure you select a valid partition type'
Any ideas??
In the hdd settings there is an option to initialise the HDD and format it to ext3 - back up any recordings first before you do this -

If I am right in what I think you are trying to - it is simple -
Just use CCcam and put clines and nlines in your CCcam.cfg - if you are using Oscam then you can enter newcamd and CCcam reader accounts in oscam.server. -

you need to connect to the windows share with network browser and mount it - then either download a media player plugin, or you can browse to the mounted share by pressing the button on your remote that takes you to your recordings, and changing the folder to the location of the mounted drive

How are you receiving your services? Just because it is showing in CCcam info it does not mean it will clear. If it is a poor quality server then you may find JSC works because it does not make many server requests as other services, where other services may need to send requests more frequently to the server to clear.

filezilla is an FTP client so if you are familiar with FTP it is fairly self-explanatory, and it is easy to use when compared with other clients. WinSCP is another good client but is slightly less simple. -

if you go to the ViX network settings and install samba server on the client and server boxes, then on the clent boxes you can then use the network browser, and this should find the server.
