    There are no easy solutions. To stop this from happening you need to utilise the oscam.services file. If you have quite a full sly sub then you can put all the channels your card cannot clear on 0963 - and use the ! (block services) flag infront of the name of the set of defined services you created that your card cannot clear on each of your peer's accounts you set up in oscam.user - note this doesn't work if you use it in the reader entry for your card.

    Another way - and a very good way to control your server, is to work out what cards your server clears for your peers from your peers (reshares), add definitions for all the individual channels your card clears - create a separate entry for each, and add this as positive services (without the '!') on all of your user accounts.

    Example - a server that has Redlight HD local, and also has reshares on 0B00 and 0B01 - in oscam.services do something like this;

    and add this to your accounts in oscam.user

    Code
    services = redlight,0b00,0b01

    Bear in mind a couple of things with doing this. You cannot share (reshares) any services that are not cleared by your card that are on the same caid and provid of your local card. Secondly, if you define just a caid and no provid(s) and srvid(s) - then your server will clear all available provid and srvid on that caid. Again if you define caid and provid and no srvids, then your card will clear all services on that caid and provid, but will block all other provids on that caid and therefore the related srvids, unless on another [definition] you also enter other provids you want your server to clear under that same caid.

    All rather confusing? Yes - but it gets clearer in the end!

    As I said, no easy solution. With oscam you either annoy your peers by effectively ignoring reshare rights so your card can show as clearing channels it hasn't got, or you control it in fine detail, but lose the capability that cccam has in resharing to peers the reshares of sly services your card hasn't got!!

    From memory (because it wasn't the most reliable solution so I don't use it at the minute) the WiFi extender I have simply picks up the WiFi signal from the router and, well, extends it - so I connect the WiFi extender to my PC and tap in the WiFi SSID and password. It shouldn't be too hard - might be best to reset the Extender to default, read the manual and start again!

    Hi! For some reason OSCAM is making it seem as though my Sly card is full packed. Basically my peers clear everything through me, though I have only certain channels and they say it comes up as hop 1.

    I decided to check for myself, I went to my friend's house, gave him a line and he cleared every channel through me on hop1! This is overloading right now and it makes it look as if I am card faking.

    Which OSCAM configs would be need to be seen here?

    have a look here
    http://linuxsat-support.com/ca…erver-cccam-protocol.html
    You will get some idea of what I found a while back while I was experimenting.

    just hijack my thread why dont you

    Fair point!! - was looking to split it in to two threads but some of the answers seem to be responding to both questions - prob best leave this thread how it is - but waj_uk if you have more issues best start a new thread as I am not sure both the issues are related - from now on we can hand it back to anniman :popcorn:

    if you are using Oscam/CCcam -the you are most probably only using Oscam as the reader for your card, and you will not see clients. These will all be visible in your CCcam webinterface/CSstudio. If you are using Oscam alone (which your configs suggest you don't) then you would need to add your peers (virtual cards) in oscam.server, and to share your services you need to ideally enable cccam protocol, forward the port to your server on your router, and set up your users in oscam.user - which we will touch on if you confirm you are not using oscam/cccam.

    Rule 6 actually:haha:
    Any reviews about a direct competitor to our sponsor may have the effect of taking business away from our sponsor, so to that effect, the answer is no.

    I have used our sponsor a couple of times already this year and I can't fault the service. Whoever you buy your receiver from is your choice, and google is your friend. It is good to do some research to ensure the retailer is trusted before you part with your hard earned cash, but it is not fair for us to promote other retailers here.

    I remember having these niggles with CoolTVGuide on the NBOX - but I just saw it as a case of putting up with the little niggles as the bigger picture was it still remains the best solution. If you can find a way to sort it out the great but sometimes these are just small things and you shouldn't let them get to you:sheep:

    Ok no probs I understand. whats the alternative, whats a proper sub? sorry if its a dumb question still learning how everything works!

    You need to read. Start with the cardsharing tutorials
    Cardsharing Tutorials
    You have a receiver that can act as a server and a client with CCcam/Oscam. Ideally you would have a motorised dish or a dish that can pick up other satellites as well as 28.2e. In this hobby a lot of people buy a subscription card, and share the card over the internet with others who have different cards. That way, you take away the need to use payservers. Others form a pool and share one sub with a group over the internet. I am not encouraging Cardsharing, because it is not legal, but it takes away the need to use payservers, who are making money out of other people's ignorance, and causing providers to take measures. Because of this, I would not think you would be able to receive UK paid channels this way very soon. If all you want to do is get UK paid channels, then your safest bet is to subscribe to them and use their equipment.

    if you are using Oscam alone in a receiver you should configure dvbapi - add this to your oscam.conf

    Code
    [dvbapi]
    enabled = 1
    au = 1
    user = user
    boxtype = dreambox

    and change entry in oscam.user

    Code
    user = user
    pwd =
    group = 1
    monlevel = 0
    au = 1

    Entitlement said "0500:042820"
    Wich provider is?Wich channels?

    try changing every 042800 entry in your configs to 042820

    But I am still not sure about your setup - I did ask - it might help me or someone else help solve your issues if we knew a tad more.

    looks ok to me apart from;
    ident = 0500:42800 i would change to ident = 0500:042800
    I see no reason to get rid of the 0 if it is part of the ident - never tried it without the 0 but it certainly would not cause a problem if the 0 was there.

    Also have a look at your logs when you are trying to access a channel and post them here. Is it saying the channel isnt subscribed etc? - now you have woken up the card you should be able to safely remove the '1' from the end of your oscam.dvbapi entry

    also you set boxtype to PC - I take it you are on a receiver rather than a PC considering you are using dvbapi?

    Now 1 entitlment but all black
    Wich channel for update suggest?
    Ab1 abmoteurs or other?

    A bit more info about your setup might not go amiss here, as well as some config files - you might have the card working, but there are other parts in the works that need to be correct.

    Strangely contrary to what this guide says - It can be flashed from the front as well as the back USB ports - secondly after inserting the USB with the image on and powering up, you then have to press the UP arrow on the front of the receiver for it to begin the upgrade process. At the end of the upgrade process, it then promts again for the up arrow to be pressed to upgrade. This is not needed to be done again, so just power down and take out the USB, then power up again, and you have your new image. This is with a Venton Unibox HD2 flashed with ViX from factory default.
