Not sure - rule out a memory issue - What image are you using? in a telnet session - log on to the receiver and type in 'free' to check your ram - if this is very low it can cause issues - and also check to see the flash use etc by typing 'df -h' - have you installed a swap?

have you have installed a subtitles player plugin? What (mediaplayer etc) are you using to view the xvid?

Seems a lot of people posting in this thread have not read the rules - first post should be here;
Introductions
You are more likely to get support if you introduce yourself first

click on Liveonsat
then click the England flag to see what is available. No chance of getting JSC Sports in the UK unless you have a massive dish as the channels on that package that show the 3pm's are not on hotbird - but there are still some out there on other providers - 0.8w and 4.8w, as well as 16e are good satellites to look at.

The raspberry pi can't run Flash content - never seen the site you want to use but bear that in mind. The RPI can handle HD streams but depends on the format and you might have to purchase the licences for the codecs. I know one thing - it can't handle live HD streams from enigma2.

These receivers are very poorly made - the USB ports are not lined up properly with the casing - don't force in the USB and ensure that the USB drive is lined up properly with the port.

have a look at the above on how to flash these receivers.

To watch recorded programs - press the button next to the menu button on your remote (a rectangular shaped icon) - from memory press the menu button while on the recorded files list where I think you can change the menu layout. You could also try to install Advanced Movie Center plugin if you want something a bit more fancy!

Yep remember that some of us have real world normal jobs so it is not always possible to react straight away - I got back from work to this and a few other PMs as per:sheep:
Not sure what happened but glad you are back to normal and apologies for thisbeer10

the tuners are inverted - tuner 2 is tuner 1 in software and vice versa -if you have two feeds one in each tuner both 28.2e set tuner A (which relates to 2 on the back of your receiver) to 28.2e - and then set tuner b to "equal to tuner A". To try out both tuners and feeds try disabling each tuner one by one so you have one tuner working - and trying each feed in each tuner and make a note of how it all works. As for the client app, from memory, you may need to disable zapping for it to work in a 2 tuner setup.
-
probably something to to with the client app you are using then - there are options you need to configure so it knows you are on a twin tuner reciever.
-
If you are using hyperion it will only have one tuner set up by default - think from memory you need to go in to blue panel then settings and it is one of the options there
-
Maybe because you are trying to use the x86_64 version - instead, try the i686 version if you are using 32bit rather the 64bit. Unpack the file - rename the oscam binary so it matches that of your existing binary - and you know the rest as you have stated.
If there is a problem with oscam restarting, then back up your existing configs, and try to run with minimal configs, then gradually rebuild the configs. Jumping versions by this amount sometimes requires tweaks in your configs.

Did you use autotimer for this recording? If so you will need to delete the autotimer entry as well as the normal timer entry, otherwise when it polls it will set up the recording again.

I had a lot of issues and went back to raspberry pi if you remember I tried a few things but rebooting seemed to mess things up again
http://linuxsat-support.com/li…-ubuntu-12-04-server.htmlSo I will try 13.04 myself soon then - at least I know that it is more likely to work!

Have you not read about the new sly pairing methods that have been posted all over this forum over the last few months?
Possibly not by the sounds of it, but if you have updated your cards in an original sly receiver, then you have probably been affected by this issue.
-
How can they do this, I am only 4 months into my new subscription.
Would it help if I contacted my supplier ?Regards.
Nope - person who sells card is not responsible for provider changes. JSC Sports won't help if you are not in the Middle East, and if you were they would just advise you to point your dish at a different satellite. Tough if you are in the UK you need to get a very big dish and move to the South of England!
-
you agreed to the rules above- not sure you read rule number one !!
it doesn't take long!
cheers...

You don't need any firewall exceptions, niether do you need any username and password. Remember it takes a fair while to download all of the channels and this is limited, so you may want to create a special bouquet just for this purpose on your receiver and define this with the "fetch only one TV bouquet" option. If you only have one tuner activated you need to enable "zap before tuner switch".
