    looks like the person who created the backup did not enable text support.

    menu> setup> system> remote control code > text support = YES then green to save.

    The person who created the backup does have a name - this was stated when the thread was started...

    Also if it is so vital (to warrant mild sarcasm) that anyone who creates backups should enable it, then why is it not enabled by default? I am sure it can't be because I am sure "the person" wouldn't have disabled it!

    You have asked a couple of times for step by step guides and where the images are. Have you noticed there is a firmware section and a tutorial section?

    What have you already tried, and what do you not understand?

    change your cccam entry in oscam.conf to this - it is not complete how you have it

    Code
    [cccam]
    port = 35001
    version = 2.2.1
    reshare = 1
    reshare_mode = 0

    If you post your oscam.user account you set up for the CCcam share then I would have a better idea. Also ensure that the group on the user account is the same as the readers you want to share.

    Entering letters should be the same as texting on a mobile without predictive text. Press a number on your remote that corresponds with the letter you want (1 has a few symbols - 2 is abc, 3 is def etc) - press repeatedly until the letter you want appears, and wait until it stops flashing then move to the next one. When you are pressing the number on the remote, there should be a guide that comes up to tell you what letter you are on to aid you.

    Have a look at the above - Never used this protocol - but is there any reason why you are using camd3 protocol? - if you use newcamd protocol then you can add something like this in oscam.conf

    Code
    [newcamd]
    port = 20000@0963:000000;20001@0B00:000000
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    keepalive = 1

    change caid:ident for each card to suit - I assume you are only trying to share 2 cards to client - any more then you might want to use CCcam protocol

    in oscam.user, create 2 user accounts - one for each card, and ensure that the group you are using is the group of the corresponding card in oscam.server reader settings.

    You can then connect to client with 2 nlines, one for each account you created in oscam.user.

    Being honest with you now - you are wasting your time at the minute. Maybe if you waited a bit (a fair bit!) longer then we might have given you the benefit of the doubt that you now have an original receiver. As it stands I think your best bet is to actually buy an original receiver, but take in to account that as pheonix pointed out we are not stupid - or look elsewhere for help, or look at the information already available and hope that it works with your clone - but bear in mind that it might not because it is a clone. I am sure you can find out the information you are looking for if you actually looked for it rather than asking for it to be pointed out to you. The information you want is out there, so regardless of clone or not - you really should search before asking - you will save a lot of time.

    again - thread closed.

    hello I'm from Brazil I'm here in my area cable that draws N * E * T I do not know where to start to create a cs server for this type of transmission you have some way for me to mount a cs tv cable net Thanks

    1) first post should be an introduction here Introductions
    2) most of us here are from Europe so I doubt anyone will be familiar with what you are trying to do
    3) when your first post is wanting help trying to set up a card sharing server, it looks very suspicious - please read the rules here Rules - paying particular attention to rule #12

    The guide is accurate. Try changing the settings back and test again to rule out coincidence. Setting 'Enable CSV Import' (you are not importing a CSV file!) and 'Download on Tune' to no should work and I see no reason why setting them to yes will make any difference. Download on tune set to yes will cause a manual EPG load when you go to an EPG channel (OpenTV provider) manually, but the scheduled updates should still work if it is set to no. On the other hand, enabling automatic refresh - I have found this sometimes helps with issues around EPG not populating after a reboot, but again, this should not effect the scheduling.

    but if the way you have it works for you, then leave it how it is:linuxsat5:

    satellites.xml file should already be included with the settings, so should not be causing any issues. If you use ftp browser to browse to /etc/enigma2/satellites.xml, and open this file to edit - you will see a line that looks something like this;

    Quote

    <sat name="21 Eutelsat 16.0E" flags="0" position="160">

    that relates to that particular sat.

    where it reads position="160" - adjusting it to 158 would put it effectively to 15.8e but that very small difference from what I have just seen in testing makes absolutely no difference at all to the strength of the signal - so I doubt that is the issue.

    You tried turning the volume up on your receiver remote? might sound like a silly suggestion, but the default volume is usually not very high. Also try pressing your audio button and trying another audio stream. On my particular receiver I have also found that in the a/v settngs I have to set the audio source to spdif, AC3 default to Ues and AC3 downmix to no - but these options might differ depending on the image.

    So you have the drive connected internally and powered, and you can see that it is spinning? I take it you have verified that this drive is spinning in the receiver? have you checked the internal connections along all of the points at each end? Have you got another drive to see if the receiver will work with any drive?

    Maybe you should browse the help sections to find solutions for your issues. Most could probably get resolved - ask for help in the relevant sections if you don't find the answers. As for SD quality, it is pretty pants anyway, but I have not really seen anywhere that this is particularly bad on a Gigablue.

    nvm got it sorted (searched google and found elsewhere) thanks for everyones help, will do a wee tutorial to explain how i done it and hopefully will help others in my positiion :D

    Shame you had to go elsewhere to get this working - all the info is in here in the oscam sections:thumbsup:

    Hi All,
    I'm a newbie to all this card sharing thing and need some confidence boosting info.
    I have just bought a Blade 7000s and am researching what i need to set it up to recieve the channels freely, ok ive got the firmware (with a p in the title) i have a channel list, what i want to know is do i need a viewing card like the one s*y provides or some other sort of card? and also do i need my own DNS server???? i think ive been reading a little too much and things have begun to confuse me even more (and the box hasnt even arrived yet).#

    Any help will be very much appreciated.
    also what does cccline stand for? all i seem to see is abbreviations used everywhere:confuse:

    cline i think you mean - this is a line that you put in a CCcam.cfg file - so called because it starts with 'c:' - this contains information to enable a client receiver to connect to a server, so when the client receiver needs the information to decrypt a channel, the server can fulfill the request so long as it hosts that card either virtually and physically. In a non enigma based receiver, this cline will possibly have to go on another file or be input directly on to the receiver using the remote.

    If you have a BM7000s, the problem with this is it is just a Client, so you are not able to apply cardsharing in the proper manner. You would need to set up your own server, buy a card, and maybe share this with others to get all you need, or if you have a nice friend who already has done this, ask him nicely for a line. Do not pay for a line from a payserver, as you might find yourself getting ripped off and if you have seen the rules, you will see that you will not get help here. That also applies to 'free' clines you find off the net.

    If you had an enigma based receiver, then you would be better off. If you do set up a server on a PC or other device, then you would then need to register with a DNS service (unless you have a static IP address), so those who you share with will always be able to connect even if your IP address changes.

    Not really likely you can get a free lunch. For many it is a hobby and much is invested in it.
