<13> If you are the supporter of a Pay Server DO NOT ask for support, your request will be ignored.

Free clines are either testlines from payservers or stolen from hacked servers.

I will close this thread. Please read the rules before posting.

I have seen some people stating that if you turn the screen refresh frequency down to 25Hz that it stops the juddering, how much truth there is in this i don't know.

This works on the NBOX on 1080p - I tried this after finding the info that i think pauldb posted on another forum re the alien receiver, and taking it that it might work for all SH4 receivers, TBH rather than going through all of the info, I found that just changing the refresh to 25hz was enough. Using Autoresolution seemed to create more issues, and it is now pretty much judder free, although 25hz is not ideal on all channels, I have gotten used to it.

Couldnt figure it out at all and now tomthered is on holidays lol nano if i sent you my oscam files (with a test line details as i would set up) would you be able to tell me if im doing something wrong?

Probably best if the problem is oscam search the oscam wiki, threads and tutorials, then if you are stuck, open up a thread in the oscam support section, post your configs there (blanking out any sensitive bits) - give a little bit of info on your setup (card etc, and how far you have got) and then take it from there. It shouldn't be a problem getting you sorted out fairly quickly if you did this!

I voted for PKT Nebula Zero because it is very stable and works well in NAND - I have tried PKT Hyperion - which is good for plugin support, but somehow not a slick and less stable, and for stablity I have to install it in HDD, which contrary to what others have reported, I have found images running from HDD to be less slick than from NAND. I have tried PKT Nebula v3 which was less stable than Zero, and OpenPli - which seemed to lack a plugin repo.

Not all receivers have a fan because not all receivers need a fan. A receiver with a good passive heatsink and good airflow and ventilation, situated where there isn't anything preventing this should be ok. In good quality receivers this is usually thought of in the design. Fans are noisy so often it is favourable that there is fanless cooling in anything that is part of your home theatre. Things will and do get hot, and it is not always a sign of a problem. If it is new then you are covered by your warranty anyway, and you may even find that fitting a fan voids the warranty. If you get a clone, then this is where you have to worry, because the quality of the parts and the manufacturing process are substandard, and your warranty is probably non-existent:lmao:

That being the case, a lot of people will happily fit a fan to a clone.

there are several legally ambiguous sites based in Eastern Europe or Russia where you can buy credit and download MP3s for peanuts - such as ivave - have a look here

    Code

I don't use torrents or filesharing networks personally because the risk of virus infection is too much!! - but on the other hand, some people do not want to give card details to Russian MP3 sites - although you can make your own mind up as most of them use merchants to process payments and these can be researched easily enough.

just a quick heads up also i use vhannibals motor channel lists and cross stopped scanning epg with vhannibals lists for some reason in last few weeks so i need to use catseye list to get the epg and then switch back to vhannibals maybe of some help

Unrelated I would imagine because fiohaa can download the EPG but it is the scheduling that is the issue.

Are the three tuners all dvb-s2 tuners? does it have a hard drive installed? any scratches? all original packaging and accessories?

probably not interested at that price if there is no HDD installed, but if there is it is something I might consider - after all it is 19 months old!

    cheers.

edit - just seen the pics - take it one of the tuners is dvb-t

Am i right in saying from the pics you still have the plastic film stuck on the front panel?

Doubt it will catch fire. It is normal for receivers to run warm, ensure that you are keeping it in a well ventilated area. One way to look at it is that if you can feel the heat over a fairly wide area, then the heat is being dissipated. It would be warm or even hot, but not enough to burn from the outside of the case. If the heatsinks and fans were not doing what they should, then the heat would be concentrated to a very small area, would be very hot and before you know it, there would be a burnout!

I am not sure on your receivers but in some receivers, there are variable speed fans that can be set in the image, so if you look in the settings menu see if you can change the settings. You can also view the temperature of the CPU

you should not need to set the EPG up before running ABM, i never do and never have done, i always set my boxes to run ABM first then the EPG, the same goes when setting up a new image too.

Yes you are right, but not sure anyone was implying that the epg needs to be set up for ABM to work.

Have you tried pressing your audio button and selecting a different stream? You can also select default options in Auto language selection in your settings, select Prefer AC3 and for it not to use the stream stored by the service.

Never used taptalk or used any android app to browse the forum so can't really help there.

above is a good place to start. If your receiver says 'nbox' on the front panel immediately after booting, then it has the right uboot for Nebula image. Nebula Zero is IMO (and most other's) better than Nebula V3 (more stable) and will suit your needs.

Once you are are on the right uboot, then stick in the usb with the image on you want to flash (ensure you have downloaded and using the one that is, (from memory) turn on the receiver and as turning on repeatedly press the up (or down) arrow until you land on 'update' - press OK and it should flash the image

above thread has the images, the update file and the info you need.

hi nano my tv is full hd and wont switch to 1080p 25hz it will 1080p 24hz 1080p30hz but not 1080p 25hz its crazy half my hd channels jutter litter after 3 mins and when i go forward channel then back it ok for 3 min again im goin chanage the capactiors thats meationed her what u think cheers

You switch the resolution in receiver A/V settings, and if your TV supports it it will work. It 25hz is a no go, try 24.

Have a look at the above for a guide on loadbalancer. It might also be a good idea to look at oscam.services, because you can then control what you receive from your peers. You can reject hop 2 cards where you have another peer with that card on hop 1 for example. It sounds to me that you are latching on to the best reader but further down the line it is freezing. Try disabling this peer and see if the same thing happens, and look in to using the oscam.services function.

The link I posted was for the one with twin tuners - the receiver has plug and play tuner slots

Venton Unibox HD1+ Plus Twin Satellite DVB-S/S2 - Twin plug and play tuner slots

If you want to get a receiver that would have more support and would be better than the NBOX then check out the above link to our sponsor. The above link is to a Venton HD1+ and can be fitted with an internal 2.5" hdd. For a bit more you can get the HD2 which supports 3.5" drive. Any ethernet receiver is WiFi Compatible because you can get a WiFi bridge. If you went for the NBOX 5800sx you only have one USB port so the WiFi bridge would probably be best for WiFi support.

NBOX is very good value but you still get what you pay for, so it depends what you want against how much you want to pay.

Before you do further testing, you need to research a bit more to ensure that the voltates are the same. Inspect more closely to check the points at which things connect to prevent you shorting anything etc - but the biggest hurdle if your card survives the initial fitting, would be getting drivers to get it working.

Probably a no-go tbh - I can't at a glance see any documented accounts of others doing this.

There was a post that suggested changing the refresh rate on the TV itself to 25Mhz. Have you tried that? I must admit a mate had this issue and gave up and got a new Venton HD2 box. I think I would do the same.

The refresh rate is not changed on the TV, it is changed on the receiver. The TV should work with various formats selected on devices that are connected.
