Have you verified that you are connected to the network? Can you use the network browser to try to rescan available networks?

Have you spoken to your nice friend who generously gave you the cline? It sounds like the issue could well be with the server.

You can find your mac address if you log in to your router - it looks something like this
00-ae-23-90-f3-01
or
00:ae:23:90:f3:01On your solo you can also find it by pressing menu - selecting Information and then selecting Network.
They should be different, or there could be a conflict.
Try connecting them both to the router direct, and see if there is still a problem. If not, there could be an issue with interference on the homeplugs, which can cause huge packet loss. Perhaps it is an idea to do a speed test on PC connected to the homeplug, and if the speed is low, try another socket. Homeplugs should be plugged direct in to a main socket, or at best, not plugged in to any surge protected extension leads.

Can you please give me advice on what is the best setting for it please, why I ask is if I am watching a movie or a tv program and want to rewind the program back a few minuets or an hour. When I get to that part, it seems that it will only play where I am now the program. Is there anything in the timeshift settings that needs changing. And just one more thing please is when I switch the box off when I go to bed ,when I get up in the morning the box has switched it self back on through the night .Will that be something in the epg settings ,that needs altering .
Firstly I have had issues before with EPG downloads. I use opentv EPG updates, I have autobouquets and EPG updates each early morning, and sometimes I get up, and the receiver is on. One thing you can check for is crashlogs, because if the updates are somehow causing your receiver to crash, then it will return to on. I have also noticed with ViX on my Technomate that EPG updates sometimes cause random reboots. Try doing this - press menu - Timers - PowerTimers - press Green - scroll Timer type to go to standby. Set this daily, around 10 minutes after you have your EPG updates scheduled. As for the Timeshift, not sure what is happening - I assume you have Permanent Timeshift enabled. Remember this can only work on the channel you have been watching. You should be able to rewind, and then press play from the point you have taken it to, unless there is an issue with your disk. Is this set up on a HDD or a pen drive? If it is a pen drive you will probably get read/write speed issues.

no need to start a new thread when you have already asked the same question. Have you tried all the suggestions?

how do you change the language to uk please thanks
Press OPT on remote - then scroll down to 'Ustawienia' - press OK - then while 'System' is highlighted - press OK - then scroll down to 'Język' (you won't see this option at first - keep scrolling, it is on the next page down) - then press OK - then scroll up to 'English' - (next to a picture of the Union Flag) - press OK - then press your back button a few times to get off the GUI - then press OPT again - and you will see the Main menu is in English. You need to restart the GUI at this point to change everything to English. -
master G beat me to it:lala:! - It might be useful to also look here to get more of a feel for it. In your situation, Oscam is just a cardreader and you are using CCcam as the server, so as long as your card is set up, then you can pretty much leave that part alone.

Thank you, after running that command I now see the following...
My 'Device' reads /dev/sci0 as per config I downloaded (see above). I tried setting it to 0 as suggested but I still don't see an entitlements and serial still shows as '0000000000000000'. Have no idea if this has any baring, but it still doesn't seem as if the card is being read. Please advise?

In order to delete a channel on your bouquets list, you need to be on the bouquets list first that contains the channel. To get to the bouquets list, while on a channel and with no other menus on display - press down button on remote (the one underneath OK) - then press the blue button to bring up the favourites, then select the bouquet that contains the channel you want to delete, then while in the bouquet, highlight the channel you want to delete using your arrow keys, then press menu on your remote, and as mrgmx said, you will have the delete option.

Have a look here; - this is one of several threads that will explain this

Display More
thanx for reply guyz but unfortunately can't write both u mentioned in my box its 5 decimal
its like
long: 000.00 east
lati: 000.00 north
long: 001.66 west
lati: 054.97 north
-
Two different ccams? Take it you mean clines - have you spoken to the person who was so kind enough to give you these clines? Their server might not like the fact that there are two logons from the same IP address.
-
you are North 54.9741 and West 1.6587
If it only gives you 3 decimal places, then round to the nearest number - so 54.9741 becomes 054.974 and 1.6587 would be 001.659

I don't get to see that option because I always install my Fixed on A so when I get to B, it isn't an available option! - Anyway sounds like you have it set up best now so I will close the thread... Glad you got it sorted!

Just had a look at the way the tuner priorities work. If it is set to auto, It says it gives priority to the one with the least amount of satellites (this is in ViX), which, considering B and C are the same, It might not be able to distinguish, and might be using C instead of B, where B would be needed to drive the motor. Have a mess with the tuner priorities - which is in menu-Setup/System/Customise - perhaps giving priority to B may be the best in your situation, but there will be the issue that I have already mentioned - recordings may use your motor, even if the service is on fixed.
-
It should as far as I am aware use tuner B unless it is already in use.
-
Just to clarify, only one of your feeds drives the motor?
If the case then I think you might be better off changing the priorities. If the priorities are default, then I would use tuner A for fixed dish, tuner B for the feed that powers the motor, and tuner C for the other feed to your motor dish.I have a Fixed and a single feed motor, and I find it works so much better if the fixed is on tuner A - reason is if you use the motor dish as priority, then if you are recording something on 28.2e, then you can't move to another satellite if you want to watch something mid recording, as it is being used by the recording.
