find out if autoresolution is running - think it is somewhere in thw settings or a/v menu - not sure cause I haven't got this installed - I am not one for getting my head around crashlogs but might be worth a try - if autoresolution is running, then disable it. Also - make sure in that your a/v settings are appropriate for your TV - such as resolution, HDMI/scart etc

getting there - wll have to pass on the BBC HD issue -something seems amiss but can't test it myself as I don't have that receiver - see if Ten Below will be able to shed light on that...

ITV2, ITV3 and ITV4 HD are not free to air like the SD channels are - so they wouldn't work, however you should be able to get BBCHD, BBC1 HD, and ITV1HD - I take it as you have the backup image installed you are using the catseye channel lists. In what way are you switching channels? You should press the down arrow, then press the blue button, and on the channel list, you need to find the $ky UK (28.2) channels, and as far as I recall there is a freesat or Free UK set, in there you should get working ITVHD and BBCHD channels.

one good thing is that if channel 5 HD is working then your card is working. Seems strange that no other HD channels will work as I expected you to say that 5HD was the one not working - that is a FTV channel - in other words it is 'free' but needs a sly card to clear it.
are there any SD channels that are not working?

I think you need to start from the very beginning. Firstly, you don't need a card to watch freesat. If you have a sly card, then this will only get you one extra HD channel, that being 5HD, and a couple of other sd channels, but you won't need the card for the vast majority of the channels. Can you confirm first if you have got your receiver connected to the internet? this would be the first thing to do. Also, will probably give you a big leap forward if you install a backup image - so long as it is not a clone - install this;

Robert I don't post lies - there are ways and means to find out information if one leaves enough footprints. Unfortunately for yourself there is an agreement amongst the staff at linuxsat-support that you have far reaching commercial interests and this is not a hobby for yourself. Anyway - surely your clients can wait a bit longer - I mean they already have the Bronze, Silver and Gold packages - maybe you will have to put your Platinum package on hold until you can get your Viasat card working...
Bit steep the Bronze package mind you, I mean 850 Euros installation and 15 euros a week for a JSC sports card (or should I say service)????
Poor landlords will have to put up the price of their Guinness by a fair bit to cover that!

This forum is for hobbyists, and without you being clear and avoiding responding to the questions I am asking about your setup, I doubt you will get too much help. Fact of the matter is you have 5 locals - you have 30 user groups and you are avoiding the questions I am asking. I am sure there are 1 or 2 people out there who have 5 locals and are not acting with commercial intentions, but you have not given me any reassurances or explanation of your setup to be confident you fall into this group, and we are entirely entitled to question your setup.

channel lists are usually in the addon feeds of most images - also if you have installed an addons panel such as TSpanel then you can install them from there - the list you need will depend on your setup, but the most up to date at the moment is the Vhannibal

I have Sly uk, Sly Italia,Aljazeera,Tring and hopefully viasat if i can get it going, I have it in a server through a usb hub and the version of oscam is OSCAM 1.20-unstable_svn build #7180. Do you know of any solution to solve my problem, i was thinking of putting it into a different type of reader and see if that helps, otherwise im in a real pickle
Just seems strange that anyone would spend what appears to be well over £1000 (more like £1.5K) in cards, maybe it is just me but I thought that is why people cardshare, to help reduce costs.

756E is the service ID and 89 is the ECM length.
not sure what that channel is - but if you add 89 to your ecm whitelist then if your card clears 756E then it should now work

Think gav99 was suggesting configs if your card is in the reader of a receiver - you need to change protocol to suit how your card is being read.
Also - I think you forgot to answer my question about what locals you have?

Hi Robert - just on a side note a couple of questions - you have 5 locals? What locals do you have? - Also you have this in your user account;

so of these 5 are locals, - the rest peers? - this indicates you are exercising much control on your server by giving each reader a separate group, not that unusual, (I personally wouldn't go further than cards in separate groups and all peers in one group) because you can control who gets what - but then you contradict this by the next lines;

if you are using webinterface for Oscam then you access it by clicking 'configuration' - 'loadbalancer' - and one of the boxes is retry limit. This defaults to 800ms - to change this value then add
lb_retrylimit = ###
to oscam.conf, or just put in a different value in webinterface.
hashes being the value you want - try lower values than 800ms

This guy was a full on scumbag payserver - compare this with the case that was posted on here a couple of weeks ago from Truro - there seems a big difference in the extent but not in the punishment. I am not even sure if the guys from Truro were payservers in the sense that we understand them, more a friends and family operation.
