And on the other board, is your username 'CapNCooK' ? if so, then credit is given.

try adding
services = !boxnationin oscam.user for the account you set up to send he nline to cccam

just tested it on my sly ftv card - without doing what i suggested - i get this message;
CodeError processing ecm for caid 0963, srvid C5CB (servicename: 0963:C5CB unknown) on reader upper_slot.and after setting up negative services it changes to this;
Codec dvbapi_dreambox (0963&000000/C5CB/68:C1D7): rejected group (100 ms) (0 of 0) - 0963:C5CB unknown (no matching reader)so it does seem to work - if it does, and if everyone who's card is being read in Oscam who haven't got boxnation or premier sports did this, then it would help, as if your peer's server thinks your card is clearing a channel when it is not - it can make it difficult for them to stop this, unless they are using Oscam as well.
of course, this doesn't happen to every channel, seems to affect boxnation and premier sports - you need to be adding the SIDs to the oscam.services.

Although services doesn't work on your local card entry on oscam for positive services, you can use negative services - that is, you can add boxnation and premier sports sids to oscam.services, and define it as a service to reject. This will cause requests that are sent to your card for that service to be deemed invalid, though it doesn't prevent the request from happening. I am not 100% sure but it might stop the client thinking your card is clearing the service when it isn't. Worth a go!
add the following entry to oscam.services;
in your entry for your card in oscam.server - add this;
Note the exclamation mark directly in front of the title of definition is what makes it negative rather than positive.
You can only have one services entry in each reader entry so if you already have a services entry then you can just add this to it separated by a comma.

try the network install again for debian, let it choose how it organises the filesystem, and let it put the bootloader where it wants! - that is if you are not tryin to get a dual boot going of course! - when you install the script, log on as user rather than root, and use 'su' command so you run the script as root - that is how i did it.
-
does your card appear to be clearing boxnation and premier sports in your logs?

this fontion working only oscam 1.20 not oscam 1.10 ????
If you read the thread you will find the question has already been answeredanything before svn6044:11/27/2011 (which is 1.20 unstable) does not have the function.
-
if it is set up and installed correctly, then the Oscam webif should work. in a browser from a receiver on your network, type http://ip_address_of_your_debian_server:8888 (for example http://192.168.2.100:8888)
the username is admin
password is adminThe oscam config files are found in /usr/local/etc
should already be log file at /var/log/oscam.log

Iam in lads!
Am a native as well from seaforth so any questions or help just ask.Can you let us know if that would be friday night, saturday night (dinner) or both?
-
First thing was going to ask is what version are you using, then I read on and you already answered it, so my suggestion would be to update your version of Oscam, then see how it goes!

TBS3102 or any 5 crystal FTDI based clone with switches or jumpers. Have 11 of those working over year with all kind of cards, never seen problems.
I prefer to set voltage/MHZ on hand and not to depend on utils (which often are closed source and/or windows only) for setting/updatingI am intrigued - most hobbyists don't need equipment to run more than 2 or 3 cards - and don't usually get through 'all kinds of cards' - over a year. Would love to hear a bit more about this?
Maybe you mean over the years - but if they are so good then why have you got through 11??
-
not sure why you should have a problem - if you have oscam.services file with the config i put up and if you added 'services = jsc to the reader entry for the card then there shouldn't be any issues - i often use the file editor on the oscam webif to edit files and doesn't cause me any pain.
-
I am now using an Argolis Triple Reader - basically it is like having 3 smargo smartreader+ in one unit - and only cost me 60 quid - painless getting to work, very pleased with it!
-
did you create a new oscam.services file or edit an existing?
can you post the configs here for your oscam.services and the reader entry for the JSC card from your oscam.server - shouldn't cause issues if set right.
-
this is the entry I have for oscam.services for my JSC Sports card. It is +1 to +8 and only has entitlements to 13e. If yours can do more, then just add more to the provid and the srvid separated by a comma.
add the following in your reader entry for your JSC card in oscam.server
the oscam.services file sits in the same folder as the oscam.user, oscam.conf and oscam.server files

I can get to Liverpool for about 6pm on saturday so as long as this is in time for dinner then put me down for that - if I get the sunday off work too you can put me down for a few drinks after dinner as well...

You could try defining services on the card, although it still doesn't seem to stop other requests being sent to the reader, also I think the only hex lengths you need in the whitelist for this card are '52' and '57'.
A lot of people set up their ecm whitelists wrong, so have a look at this;
-
the ecm times from your local to your peers will report the same time as your local ecm time you get when you are viewing. This is because it isn't taking into account the journey from your network to your peers network, so they will see it differenly from you!

a couple of things - 2012/03/13 21:55:30 8A64188 c user (0500&042700/35C4/48:9DC4): rejected user ident (121 ms) (0 of 0) (no card support 0500:042700) - think this is a config problem - think you might need to define the ident of your card.
the other messages seem quite normal - your card can only serve requests for what you have but it will still get things thrown at it for what you don't!
