    Hi Guys, I've been an E1 user for years and have just bought an Edision OS mini receiver.
    I was doing some browsing here and came accross a download for the linux-sat panel.
    I downloaded the two files 1 was a .deb file & the other was a.ipk file.
    My question is what do I do with those files, I assume I only need 1 of them, but which one and where do I ftp it to?


    I would also like to change the skin to maybe S*Y Q skin or whatever is recommended.
    Any help much appreciated.

    I see in post 2 above there are entries for 2 newcamd readers, what is the reason for that.

    Sorry to drag up an old thread but it's pertinent to my problem,
    I'm running oscam as server on my local lan and I have 2 tm500 receivers connecting via cccam but since switching to oscam
    the tm500's freeze randomly for anything upto 10 secs.
    my question is how can I use mgcamd on the tm500 receivers via my oscam server?

    I have the reverse of this kinda, if someone could help me sort this i'd be grateful..

    my problem is I have a peer who has given me a cline with 1 reshare, I have recently installed Oscam only on a second box on lan that has a cline from the box with my peers share, the prolem i have is even tho i have given my 2nd box no reshare rights, the oscam box reshares his card which i want to prevent, can anyone help me with this, basically i want to stop resharing his card

  • SMARTCARD SID REJECT syntax help needed

    I have entered the line
    SMARTCARD SID REJECT: /dev/sci0 { C7A7,C7A8,C7A9,1795,C5CB }


    but still under cccam.info it tells me the internal reader is reading card, i have updated to cccam 2.3.0 but still no good, can anyone shed light on what i'm doing wrong.

    OK got it to work, tried rebooting box through menu, shutdown, reboot now, a few times during the process didnt work, changed SMARTCARD SID REJECT to lower case, went into menu shutdown etc and box froze up so had to pull power, on startup it worked so dont know if it was changing to lower case that did it or pulling power for hard reboot but it now works..

  • E1 image with oscam?

    from what i have read oscam on its own seems to be the preferred set up, using pli jade 3 at the minute but wouldnt be too bothered about upgrading to a different image, I have 2 boxes 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs, upstairs using cccam i share the full card (obvious package) to the sitting room, in sitting room I have a 2nd dm500 with a seta*** sports card which was in turn serving to upstairs, all worked well up until recently when I lost 1 of the 2 seta*** channels and oscam is the only cam that will read it now or at least as far as i can make out, funnily enough i never lost espn sd. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

    HI i live in galway so not too far away, yes a 60cm dish will give you respectable results on hotbird @ 13e also hispassat at 30w havent tried astra @ 19e but i think it may be a little small for that, the 110m dish would be a nice addition if you put it on a motor, lots of sats available with that ;-)

    thought i had made an intro post the other day when i joined but after posting the above i noticed post count as 1 so went straight to intro section, re installer etc ya... only ever done cccam, know my around that fairly well, just cant seem to get to grips with oscam at all at all...been a cccam user for years lol...
