It could be something as simple as a bad flash. Why not try again and see if thats better.

bobbyjobby why dont you load it onto a USB stick? Back up your hard drive version and copy to USB, ensure you partition it with at least 2 partitions, one as a swap and the other for the operating system. Copy the image to USB from box and reboot to USH1 providing you saved the image to sdb1. Works straight off. If the read and write speeds of the USB stick are decent you should be OK with no lag. TSmedia works fine but some links don't work. Tried mine this weekend and all the top ones were available for streaming.

Its size is smaller than the last version of Hyperion. I run mine from USB and have had issues on a reboot as it wont pick up the OS from the USB. Yet if I do it again it works. Have not tried hard drive yet but it does seem a lot more stable on USB than v1. It also doesnt lock up like the version 1 although from standby it does seem to take its time activating Oscam. Dont know whether this is the make of card or not. Must say I am pleased with it up to now, I can see it being my operating system of choice over Nebula Zero v3

Have read that elsewhere for the Nbox but not tested it yet to comment

musogeek that is a link for Nebula V3, which is older than the Nebula Zero v2 and the one I posted is for Hyperion version 3, they are two different images

bobbyjobby did you go into the tenet section through DCC and just type init 4 in the black box? What does this then do. I can see your steps but what does typing init 4 and init 6 do?

brendanj9554 when I first installed Nebula Zero v2 i got them. I found reinstalling the image was a good thing to do. If you are running from Nand it may be a lack of memory issue. Make sure when you install to USB that you create a decent size swap partition to allow it to buffer the memory. From within your image when its running install it onto the USB via Blue Panel/Install Manager. Ensure you use the hard drive/USB image for the back up. It runs very smoothly from the USB itself.

It actually tries to install but gets so far and then just crashes out and reboots the box. On this occasion its not thrown any message up. This suggests that the actual software is faulty so I would suggest not trying to download for now. Its strange but the author has not mentioned any issues so I wonder what it is. If I try a version I have on my PC that loads up but again it wont run. Does anyone know if this refers to a server somewhere for authentication? This would explain the strange crashing issues!!

Am fine if CoolTV would work, I could put up with asking for an update but it wont even load up. At least Crossepg still works---for now!!

Cazuela thanks for the reply. But should the 5.6 version not work anyway? I dont mind that its just that it keeps asking to update. I wouldnt mind even if the 6.4 version was limited but even that asks to update, so if thats the latest version, which it is according to CoolTV forums, why is it asking to update? Is there anywhere I can look in the file to change a setting to stop it asking to update, maybe an xml script file or something?

You would think a download from the plugins section off the box would be ok but its not!!

I am running Nebula Zero v2 with Crossepg. Have tried downloading CoolTV guide but wont work. It installs version 5.6 but when I run it it comes up with a message asking me to upgrade. I reinstalled the image which doesnt have CoolTV on it and downloaded version 6.4 for OE1.6. It still says the same. Could anyone offer any guidance how to get this working again. I did have a fully working Nebula Zero v2 on USB but this started with this message too!! This is on a Nbox 5800sx and its only started this in the last week or so. As its a front end GUI for the Crossepg data I cannot understand why it wont work. It also says some stuff is missing out of the plugins folder.

If I install 5.6 and overwrite with the 6.4 folders out of the ipkg file will this work?

jwb999 this is well documented from the Nbox through audio adjust your frequency to 25Mhz and that should solve it. Look elsewhere in the forum, there is a post on this subject. Its Opt button, system/AV settings and then its the third one down, change your refresh rate.

Tried that but mine moves 15 pages at a time!! so am struggling to figure out what moves it on my Nbox 5800SX? Could it be in the setup config somewhere?

Can anyone advise how you move between pages 1 to 2 to 3 etc on the 1channel plugin please?
