afrostar or anyone, where do go for a proxy. Have tried looking for 000proxy but it only lets you put the URL in to route but not to join.

if this still doesn't sort the issues out on the gen 2 boxes then you could try adding the multiquickbutton plugin and mapping with that.to be honest that plugin is a must anyway in my opinion,so nothing lost by trying it.

it might also be worth checking your input devices to make sure its set to

dreambox remote control (native)

Ian which version of MultiquickButton would suit the Nbox 5800SX? its running Hyperion v3 and I note the latest is for an OE2.0 image and unsure if that would suit?

chhertz it is the goodwill of Ian and others that is keeping this going due to the proxy links they kindly insert into the program. Whilst they can I am sure they will update it but it would be great if we could all reprogram its just that when you exam the python script it looks a nightmare to do !!!

Ian where is the keymap file held?

It must be me but I cannot switch over to the right hand list. I am running this on an Nbox 5800SX running Hyperion v3 from USB. Does anyone know what buttons on the remote switches it across to the right hand list please?

Try an older version, I run 4.4 and havent bothered updating as sometimes they crash.

Its a standalone plugin and it works fine :)

You will need to use a proxy to overcome the ISP blocking the site. I have read a VPN does the same. Am not an expert on it but it does work.

this is exactly what happens when everyones using a proxy to connect.you cant blame the site,because to the site it looks exactly like a ddos attack,so its only protecting itself.
the upside to this though,is the captcha,so far at least is only introduced for a relatively short time,probably about 10mins.

so if you find the plugin doesnt work,the chances are that if you try again in 5-10 mins time it probably will work for you again.

Ian Is this for OE1.6 or OE2.0 images and does this folder need 1Channel installing first or should it work by FTP method and a reboot?

Unfortunately it would not work on my Nbox5800sx, it says badly formatted ipk. Any ideas what it could be please? Last time all I did was update the 1channel.pyo file which routed 1channel via a proxy site but thats been hit by limits so wondered if there was something like that or deatails on how to write a file to accommodate a proxy.
