i had this problem with a new box, i tried it with different images,connections i could not get it to work
so i just have sent it back.

hope i did not jump the guns too quick!!!

I think they would Cancel the chewed card as it is not usable mate.
Then send you out a new one!

i recently brought a dm500s, but when it arrived it was a bit damaged,but i thought it would be ok.

anyway i flashed it with a new image and did not save the current image because i thought i was not going to send it back,

now i have changed my mind.

has anyone got a original backup/image for dm500s in case they want me to send back this faulty item..

i did delete N: 127.0.0.1 10000 linuxsat support 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 256
but then the channels would not decrypt,so it is using oscam 1.20.

yes i agree, nothing is free, if you want something,you got to give aswell, or pay for a cline.

i think this is why it is called 'cardsharring'.

here you go guys!

if you get stuck on the above,use this to get your box key:

1 in the first box at the top, just enter your serial from sly box and press click next to it to give you your box key

or

2 enter the whole 17 digits from underneath the box with the 11 from above to check your box key!!!!

and the smartcard reader should be set to 3570000

or shall i set it to:

Hi everyone.....

i have the lattest pli jade image on a dreambox 500s,and i want to stream this on another pc with vlc player on my network....

1. i have got dreambox connected up.
2. i enter my ip for dreambox, and username and password (root) + (dreambox)
3. then go to stream and check ip and port 8080
4. click on link for vlc player and vlc opens up and does nothing.....

also when installed(vlc) i added firefox plugin,and the lattest version...
i have read so many different posts, but none of them are upto date....

can anyone help???????
