    Freeview tv have diiferent rights to channels dude...utv sd and utv hd do operate on 28.2 but +1 does not !

    You have changed your root password so the next time you do that make sure you remember what you actually changed the password to and it will save you such needless agro..there does not seem to be a root password plugin available for vix but there might be 1.


    Is reflashing your unit an option?


    If so use putty afterwards with login root/password either blank/dreambox or password...when logged into telnet type passwd


    Then type your new password in twice //be aware your password will not show for security reasons as you type it so get it right...

    We will get into that once people start logging emms...unfortunately i,m a little worried asking to actually see peoples emm logs to see if they are suspiciuos or not as most peeps will just post their log containing their card id which is not good at all.

    Well i heard about someones card being hw paired while in its server a few months ago which i was a little sceptical about as i thought all emms were possibly left open but i think unique open could possibly allow the new emm in to hw pair a card...they might have stepped things up as it used to be a case of sly obtaining the new receiver id either via internet or via clients speaking to an operator.


    Looking at this thread now its probably best we block everything we can.


    Anyway this config should block any new emm to pair a card...all you have to do is be aware of which emm you believe to be safe and manually write the emm yourself.


    You will find your emm log in the same location as your oscam configs.

    I stopped using gemini images a long time ago but its what you prefer i suppose...blackhole is stable on dreamboxes dependant on which image you actually chose but open pli is my preferred choice with any dreambox i work on...all oscam mips versions will work on all dreamboxes too as thatfellow has said.

    How exactly have you enabled a static ip on your pc server mate as i,m not sure you have done this correctly.

    anniman if you have a setanta card ONLY then here is my config as i also have the same card...the ecm header whitelist is personal and current which will open setanta/espn/bt sports hd and sd and all freeview channels available on your card.


    All you have to do is edit your protocol and device name...also change card speed to 500

    You can actually buy a subscription from bfbs as it looks like their is uk support beleive it or not in the link i provided!


    To obtain the keys requires some logging similar to biss with specific software...its not something i have the time to look into but keys may well be got from an official cryptoworks subscription.,,again i would need to check but keys are avaialble right now as i checked last night...they have more than likely changed since they were posted tho.
