I just reset me router
it was a strange 1 I thought I changed a port number then couldn't log into my router last resort as I said was reset it which to it to default and set it up again
a bit of a hassle but hay hoNot sure what your issue was there mate but i would change your routers default password due to what you are actually doing on your network..it is always advisable to do that anyway if you have not done this already.
Just make sure you remember what you changed your default password to tho or you will find yourself having to complete another factory reset:(

Just updated to oscam 8917 today box running dvbapi was messaged for a duplicate login , when having a look other readers were loging in and out , went back to 8884 and everything except 1 reader is back to normal , anyone else seeing this ??
No problems found so far myself with that particular version but i do not use dvapi!
Most of the new changes could be related to cacheex tho...still messing with this version myself.

There is also a possibility of a software issue with these boxes when it comes to the hdmi output signal..for instance i have noticed after a reboot on these crap boxes the picture will not display although the tv does recognise the hdmi connection/ after switching the tv on and off the picture is displayed again tho.
Maybe too simple a fix but just thought i would mention it.

Seems scarce on channel lists for these, or I'm blind or stupid(monkey) but I'll try and get my head around it.

Before i go tho omnikeys run at 5mhz so the speed should be set at that..but no higher!
1,3,2 is wrong for nds cards whether its in a pc or box as it tries to write the emm too many times thus creating skipped or no/late emms!
Au provider should be set specifically per caid/card on any number of cards on the server..i can receive at least 2 unique emms(written) per day on 0963 cards if i so wished.

It could be a problem with certain plugins you are using sparkey/for instance i think 40d will cause a green screen as its not supported atm due to flash screen change at 40d,s end but there could be other issues with whatever plugins you are using..
What plugins are giving you the green screens/versions and where did you get them/how did you install them?
You are also best to use swap file on your uno..i am currently using bh2.0.5 on a 3 year old duo with swapfile on my internal hdd which works very well but you can use an external usb stick if you have one..this should eradicate almost all green screens..

Great to see examples posted tho because you never know my luck updating 0961/0963 cards since 2005 outwith official stbs could one day run out!!!well it will for all of us on 0963 cards thats for sure...
You also never stated what cam/version you are using to update your card/or your version of oscam?/box?pc? ( i assume omnikey reader) unless pcsc is just an example to keep us guessing? you also never posted your configs but thats fine we can all run round in circles here.Just because it always worked does not mean it will always be fine as things do change all the time...and i would advise everyone NOT to use this example to update your 0963 cards.
Also you never answered a question regarding the boxnation tier/did that go onto your card? or will we see another example of tiers?
I also dont think its hw pairing as sly need your receiver id and also your card will still need the tiers hw paired or not to clear in an official anyway! but your allowing emms in you should not be if your example is what you use in your reader?
On another note you should be paying close attention to your cards entitlements (especially 0963) instead of allowing them to run out and then come online and post examples...dont you think..

The user is a friend. So on mgcamd client he cant reshare if he setup oscam. I am guessing there is no point adding cccreshare and cccmaxhops to the user account in oscam.user
If he sets up oscam and uses your newcamd or cline as a reader then he can share your card!!!! I thought you were issuing a box with mgcamd installed for your friend?
None of my business but what sort of friend would he be if he tried to reshare your card...
Protocols to look out for are /CCcam/Oscam/generic...if he is connecting via mgcamd then he cant share your card...that option is not bolstered into mgcamd so dont worry about that..the other protocols i mention could also be normal/some boxes use oscam as a reader/openboxes with mgcamd will highlight generic in oscam and cccam can also be used as a reader.

Old thread but i have to say i encountered a similar problem with a friends dm800 sim 2.01 which i had the unfortunate burden of fixing for him... open pli would not initialize the hdd so i ended up flashing an 82# bootloader image to the box which done the trick...when i flashed an 84b image back it was fine also after a hdd initialize via the remote(standard image format)... i could have tried telnet commands to bring the hdd back to life but in the end i found it easier to do do what i ended up doing!!!

You cant reshare with Mgcamd so its nothing to worry about mate...

Mate as said its kinda dead in the water 0963 so to start it now will be a mission for yourself..if you subscribe to sly on a contract with a fresh install they will defo supply one of the targetted boxes/// ie amstrad drx range which you would want to avoid but you have no choice when it comes to fresh installs..the new boxes that the engineer installs will have the latest firmware with the receiver id so as soon as he either does a callback or calls HQ to activate your card it will have the new HW pairing method meaning all premium channels wont work on 3rd party equipment/server!!! end result meaning your stuffed and you have a bloody year contract to pay for...
You could try and get a 2nd hand contract from ***...usually takes 2 weeks and this means you are only ordering a card because they will be on the understanding you have a dish installed and a receiver of your own which would have to be a thomson hd or a standard box...the older boxes are not taking the latest firmware to recieve the hw pairing keysets so it might work for you but the way things are of late i,m not sure what will be said if you try and order a 2nd hand contract now!
Your other option is to get yourself a foreign card(do your homework on which one tho) and try and exchange it for sly..many people already have this working so you might be best to let the people who have it/know the package exchange it with you...

I think everything has been covered here..what i would do next if your still having bother is delete the 12000 port/reboot router/add port again in router to internal ip address of solo2 (static/No_dhcp) then reboot router again,,, certain routers require reboots when you mess with external ports.
Also not sure what image you are using on the dm500 but if you get network ok in menu and able to download addons etc then that should be fine...tell your sister to reboot everything at her end also/router/box and then restart cam on dm500 again if still not working

Check dhcp is on in the dm500 also and reboot it.
