    Yes i tinkered with this software many months ago and it was nightmare to configure..i have not had a look at your download but the version i played around with does work.


    The problem is that there is no known/public fix for 09cd cards as that is what was claimed when this software surfaced on various websites..the software itself is (public) so its neither safe nor is it a fix for sly italia 09cd cards unfortunately.


    Prepay italia cards appear to be the most affected with this anti-cs attack and i have no doubt no matter what software is used errore 9995 or a different error will occur when italia decide to have a clean out.

  • Need help updating entitlements for Tring

    I owned a tring card for the 2011/2012 season and like master g says at the end of the month i updated entitlements on the card using mgcamd like sync uses and it updated in a matter of minutes also///all conax cards seem to update very quickly anyway..i have also updated friends cards on various encryptions in the past with mgcamd because they did not use this cam and i have yet to find a card that does not receive entitlement updates via mgcamd,although i dont know if something has changed with tring? sync seems to be updating his tring card the same way i did when i had mine.


    We might need to see your mg_cfg file tho Sir_Builder

    Probably just a bug with that version maybe but it is something that would not bother me in the slightest because there is plenty of other versions to use so all you have to do is update!!,when you look at the work oscam devs do i think sometimes you have to expect and accept a little bug here or there.People having issues really should be updating software to the latest whether it is an image or a softcam rather than trying to find out whats wrong with old versions.


    While i am here i am using 8899 on a duo here at the minute with no issues whatsoever.

    Enigma2 box is what your looking for and there is plenty of tutorials for all models already here..just depends which one sways you and what you can afford basically.


    My preference is the vu range as i have had a vu duo for 3 years now which has never skipped a beat but as i say it depends what you can afford.

    Dont worry about that as it is safe to do a software update with this image anyway..only difference i noticed with a software upgrade was the startup boot logo so its not worth doing it even if intentional...pli nightly builds i think.

    Have a look at a plugin called tsmedia player as you will find all box office and more in there.

    If you read through the thread sync//wait infact both of you read through the thread again and you will both see i did mention early on it could be a build/driver issue but i was trying to break the dude in to see what his build was like and if he actually compiled it himself as it does not seem clear the member has?


    The only disagreement here which should not be an issue is sbox/oscam but that is purely preference..sbox was designed for n3 oscam was not....oscam has cache but unless you 2 are running payservers then you will get enough clients on sbox so move on both of you for goodness sake!!!


    When columbiana is ready and done the telnet commands i posted i will explain to the member how to install his omnikey driver properly.

    You have bought the wrong card i think mate because last time i checked bein sports could not be shared on 13 east due to a pairing key..certain payservers will i suppose declare they have it and also other rumours but it clears with a different biss card on 19 east.

    You will usually only run into problems if you are using multiple readers thatfellow so i recommend that if anyone has a working setup to leave well alone,besides most reader drivers are inbuilt into most linux os now including ftdi drivers.

    Before driver install mate try this..if you have installed latest debian 7 and built the server correctly the official omnikey driver should not really be necessary especially for 1 card/reader.


    select (y) when asked on any command below


    apt-get update


    apt-get upgrade


    apt-get install pcscd


    apt-get install pcsc-tools


    apt-get install sudo


    reboot.


    If your still having bother we can look at driver install.

    No bt wont and cant cut you off anyway lol.


    If they only want your viewing card number then thats fine,give them that and they will send a signal down...if they were to ask for receiver details then that is a different matter entirely but because these channels are not paired there is no need for this extra info.

    Activating multi-room 0963 cards requires all cards including the main card connected to the same landline with the cards in official stbs at the time of activation..however as stated sly only randomly check certain accounts via an automated callback..many people have had no issues for years but anyone caught receives a letter/email indicating that their mirror card is not sending a signal back confirming its connected to a landline/account and a service call from an engineer would proceed although an excuse such as decorating usually sorts that as long as a callback is made..however any further checks on the account with the same issue would result in a threatening email/letter advising that any mirror cards not properly connected will be hiked up to the full price of the main card its mirrored from.


    Thats certainly how it used to work anyway.

    It could also be something to do with your ubuntu build!! /and or reader driver issues which is what i suspected at first but i wanted to see what a binary update would do which of course was nada.


    I had a similar problem with ubuntu before and i ended up scrapping ubuntu and turned to debian..never looked back since but i am not saying this is what you have to do at all.


    Which reader are you using mate.
