Thats surprising to say the least considering what your box model is but happy days for now.

Luckily in your favor its possible the engineer did not do his job properly by doing a software upgrade on the box at the time of the installation as this is mandatory on every new installation or service call!!! always has been the case although some engineers do cut corners saving time to get home as early as possible....the box could have been in a store for many months...sub contractors which probably installed yours usually collect boxes in bulk so your box could have been on the old software with no receiver id!

Being curious as i am can you check what software your official stb is on for us tho?

I do not own a DUO2 (mores to pity lol) but usals works very well on 1st generation vu boxes for sure so i would amigine duo2 boxes will be even better at this.

The problem will probably be your setup//however you can store each satellite manually by storing them as 001/002 and so on and selecting usals NO on each sat you want to store...once you have stored each and all satellites make a note of where each sat is stored..ie 28.2=001 etc....make sure you have an upto date channel list and a satellites.xml file..when using the posistioner to find/lock and store your sats make sure a transponder is displayed on the channel/sat b4 you search. Dont think it gets much easier than that.

Your dish is probably fine which is why i said "could it maybe be" not "dish has maybe moved slightly offline"

As i said in my first post i am not familiar with these boxes that you are using because i use quality receivers such as the vu range so i cant really comment any further i,m afraid..

If you are not bothered about your card receiving the new hw pairing rendering all premium channels defunct permanently in 3rd party equipment then yes use it.

Are you using usals or are you storing each satellite manually. I,m not familiar with both of these receivers so i could not comment on the tuner quality although i have read some good reports regarding gigablue receivers.

Could it maybe be a coincidence that in the intervening period when you swapped your box over that your dish has maybe moved slightly offline?

That will be your ecm whitelist no dought..you either need to check your log and see what they have changed it to and add it to your list or delete your list while the match is on.

Hi tennents which backup image/version of oscam are you using on your vu solo bud...

I spotted a post from yourself recently regarding your dm500.. are you sure you are not having some sort of networking issues because afaik sly are not doing any anti-cs measures out of the ordinary.

The high ecm times started last year you are correct although i,m not entirely sure what is causing this!!

I am however sceptical that this is affecting everyone..whether they are hitting batches of cards or not seems to be unknown but it appears that the cards that are affected are cards that are serving live sports at that particular time!!!

As a test it would be interesting to know which rom revisions are written to the cards that are encountering this problem which can be checked in entitlements.

Most cards will be on the latest revision either due to recent subscriptions or due to poor entitlement updating either via cccam/oscam with all emms open or updating in official stbs.

Could also be a case of wrong emm cache selected in oscam with bad and overwritten emms to your card which could cause issues or a poorly configured ecm whitelist?

As said by the op try other versions of oscam and even older versions like mentioned...oscam 6089 is the last known stable version...always worth a shot.
