I downloaded that & sent it to tmp.
I then went into software management on the receiver, install local extension, ticked the MgCamd & installed it to the receiver & it said installed, upgraded or removed 1 package (with 0 errors).
I restarted the receiver, but it's not in softcams.
All that I can find in softcams is CCcam 221 & mgcamd.
I'm just wondering as to why it didn't go into softcams as it said it was downloaded.

I installed MgCamd to tmp & then went into install extension.
The receiver downloads it alright, but it's not showing in softcams, even after a restart.
I can't install it from plugins either as I get a message saying "No plugins found."

Do I have to change the newcamd.list attributes from 625 to 755?

Could you tell me what a cccamd.list is?

I've done that and started MgCamd 138 but still no joy.

I'm having trouble locating the configs files.
When I did what you said I went into keys & in there is ignore list, peer.cfg, priority & replace.

I put it in var/keys.

I deleted my CCcam.cfg in DCC.
I then put my newcamd.list in Notepad, saved it as newcamd.list, all & ANSI.
I went back into DCC & sent newcamd.list to var/keys & restarted Mgcamd 138 but nothing is happening.
Any ideas as to where I'm going wrong?

I did that from Telnet & it said transfer done.
I then went into plugins in the receiver, but I can't find it.
Do I look somewhere else?

I just found out that the flashing is a known problem in Windows 10.
Anyway, I went to safe mode & downloaded the add ons to my C drive.
I then went to DCC & sent the add on from C to tmp.
The only problem is that after restarting my receiver the add ons do not appear in Install Local Extension.

Linuxsat Support Add ons is still flashing on & off when I click on it.
Is it doing the same for you?

I actually tried to download the Linuxsat Plugin & another page opens up on my PC, which is normal.
The problem is that the page kept flashing on & off, so I couldn't click on anything.
What do you mean by changing the password?

Vu+ Solo 2
Some kind of Openvix image (Oct 2015)

I flashed my brother's Vu+ Solo 2 receiver with an Openvix image.
I then installed CCcam 2.30 at my house and everything worked fine.
He took it home & it has been freezing since, despite him having 4 times Internet speed than me.
I read somewhere that the Vu+ Solo 2 "prefers" an Oscam Softcam.
I'm looking for an Oscam image for this receiver.
I know from experience that the way to save a CCcam in Notepad is to call it CCcam.cfg, All Files & ANSI.
I don't know what I would name an Oscam Softcam.
So, what I really need is a link to download the correct Oscam Softcam for this receiver for Openvix & what to name the Oscam Softcam in Notepad.
Hoping someone can help.

My receiver is a Humax Foxsat HDR.
I need to transfer my non freesat channels into freesat and also to avoid losing these channels when the receiver updates over the air.
Does anyone have an easy guide as to how to do this?

I reflashed the receiver with Blackhole 2.1.0.1 & I managed to get my bouquets.
The only thing is that I can't get the c*line to work.
I sent it from FTP to TMP.
When I press the blue button it says 1 cam installed & it's called Common Interface.
I wonder if this is a real Cam.
I sent other Cams to the receiver the same way, but when I press blue it still says 1 Cam installed.

I presume that there is an image on the receiver already.
In "about" in the receiver menu it says "Dec 18 2013-vuplus_experimental-factory."
If this is not an image which one would be suitable.
I also put the CCcam 2.2.1 in the temp folder.

I tried that but it just goes back to the screen that was on first.
I tried an NIT scan just now and I get the message connection timed out and it carried on and won't go any further than reading network information table on Autobouquets.

I downloaded Rats Bouquet & I can see it in the plugins, but it is coming up as Rats DW updater.
I selected that & after a few seconds it said execution finished, but I can't see any bouquets.
I was told to press the channel + button & then blue to see the bouquets, but all I can see is a list of all the channels in alphabetical order.
I must still get the CCcam.cfg going but I know how to do that.
Also, when I try to download Rats Bouquets from this website I get an unsupported or damaged file message on my PC.
What I would need is a Rats Bouquets list & to open it with Winrar because I can't follow Winamp.
Hoping someone can help me.
I also tried the Autobouquets & the receiver downloads everything and finishes but like the Rats Bouquets I still cannot see a bouquet list afterwards.

Thanks for the info lads. I'll try it out as I'm expecting a Vu Solo 2 in the post this week.
