I did a test using an old *** box & using the cable which was not bringing in any picture I got picture & sound for a few seconds. So, I then knew it wasn't the tuner. I followed the cable backwards & found to my horror that a very heavy cabinet was resting on the lead, so it's just a matter of cutting the cable behind where it was flattened. The recording problem is strange though because I have mounted the internal HDD & an external HDD at different times & initialised them. I wonder if it is a hardware problem with the receiver as the odds of both HDDs being faulty are very big.

    Vu + Duo.

If I put one co axial lead into both lnb inputs, one at a time, I can get a picture. When I try the second co axial lead in both lnb inputs I get 0% signal. Both tuners are set to single & simple at 28.2 East. The strange thing is that at the same time my recordings started acting up. If I record a programme, when I go to fast forward during the ads the receiver stalls with a spinning clock for about 5 minutes. Also if I mount the HDD & record a programme, the same thing happens with the spinning clock even when I am watching a recording. The mount then fails & I have to re mount all over again. I wonder if the two problems are related.

I'm thinking of doing a reflash. The strange thing is that the internal hard drive is 320GB, but I also have the same problem when I switch to a 1TB external hard drive. Both have been initialised and mounted. When I mount one I unmount the other one. The odds of both being on the way out must be high.

For about a week now whenever I am watching or fast forwarding a recording on my Vu Duo a spinning clock comes on the tv screen for about 5 minutes. I then have to either shutdown or restart the receiver. I have never come across this before and I am wondering what is causing this to happen. I am using Blackhole 1.7.3.

I logged on with Filezilla and found the movie in HDD & right clicked on this and clicked download.
I then clicked file & it showed me that it was being downloaded to the C drive.
But after a while I got a message saying that the file was too big for Notepad.
I'm new to this procedure & I would be grateful if you could give me instructions on how to do this the correct way.

I like to look at the live webcams of Medjugorje & Lourdes on my PC.
I was wondering if I can get a plugin to watch these through my TV.
I have a webcam plugin alright, but these are not on it.

CCcam.cfg is not all in lower case is it on the box? this caught me out once. FTP onto the box, and make sure it's CCcam.cfg, not cccam.cfg. !

Yeah, I have that sent to the receiver the way you said.
I then go into TS Panel and I can find it in etc.
I select it and the info is there, something like N: tv.*********.com followed by the numbers which is my cline.
I don't know what to do after this as there are no prompts.

After a while learning how to FTP from VUCC I'm having problems with my CCcam.
I installed CCcam from somewhere in the the TS Panel.
I was able to FTP Autobouquets from VUCC to my receiver & I can see the channels in their different categories.
All I can get is Free To Air, but no other channel will come on.
I have a CCcam on my PC which will work on my Openbox, but I decided to switch to a Vu Duo because of its two tuners & more features.
I can FTP this CCcam.cfg to my receiver & I can see it in the receiver in etc.
When I select it I can see my Cline info including its numbers, but there are no prompts as to how to enable it.
I'm obviously missing a step somewhere.
I installed CCcam 2.3.0 on an Openvix image & its says active & there is a green tick alongside it.
I even restarted the receiver to no avail.
I also tried to do a scan selecting Northern Ireland settings but everytime I do this the receiver encounters a software problem & restarts.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

He did a blind scan and only found some of the channels. He also got *** Sports 1 and 2 as well as BTSports 1 and 2. No HD channels. No children's channels.I live too far away to help him, but I'm beginning to think that he scanned the wrong transponder. I have told him this and he will try again Monday.

My friend is getting his channels fine in his living room on a Dreambox.
He decided to get an Openbox S10 for his child's room & inputted the ISP address on this after scanning & downloading all the channels.
His problem is that a channel will only show for about 5 seconds before scrambled message appears.
When he tries again on another channel there is no picture, only a scrambled message.
    Is he missing a step?
