Use NCam, there is no oscam-emu for solo 4k.

ymod not needed now doc a recent oscam should do it
thanks i have now changed again to try it on VIX 6.4.. i thought i was all sorted but when i try to start "oscam-emu" i get an error saying
"no config files found please setup oscam first in /etc/tuxbox/config......
what have i done wrong???
what do i need in there??

I am trying to get my new box working with 27.5w and i am stuck i am running openpli 8.3 although would be willing to change if it made it easier.
my problem is i have done all the first part installing all the files now i need to get oscam working etc. so i can clear the channels.
but i am totally confused as to which oscam is the right one (it used to be oscam-ymod didn't it??)there are so many now i dont know which to try or how to do it can someone help me please...need to sort it as wife waiting to watch english tv here in spain..help please

Hi i have a working 27.5w on my VU+Solo 2 I am hopefully going to upgrade my box to a VU+ Uno 4k SE my question is (to save me so much pain as doing it the first time for me was a nightmare and i still don't know how i did it) is there a way of transfering the nessasery file from my origional box to either of these new ones??

Yes you could backup your settings from etc/enigma2, all of your .tv files and lamedb and your softcam files and transfer it to the new box.....
But this is really not complicated, all you need is a channel list (i use ciefp lists) and oscam emu and valid valid keys.

Hi i am just trying to setup my new solo 4k box for BBC et, i have done the first part and now on to oscam-ymod i downloaded this vuplus-team.com-oscampowervu-arm_OpenPli-11432_all.ipk. i installed with file commander all ok but now how do i find it?? i am using openpli 8.3. if i go to softcam setup it only shows oscamPV-emu??
well proper stuck now i followed the instrucktions on first page but i am stuck with getting the oscam stuff working
i found this on another site but don't know if i need to do this with my openpli 8,3?? anyone have any idea what i need to do please??

download the openpli.rar
unzip and send files to
softcam.oscam to /etc/init.d
attributes 755
oscam bin file to /usr/bin
attributes 755
the config folder and its contents to
/etc/tuxbox
attributes config folder 755
all files inside that 644
restart oscam
all config should look like this on all images

i run two VU+ Solo 2 boxes in the house normally i can use FlashFXP 5 to transfer films tv progams etc from one to another. i was using openspa image on them and could move files quite easy..now i have changed one of those boxes to OpenPli i cannot tranfer any files from openpli with FlashFXP it just wont let me do it ..question is does anyon know why it wont let me????

can someone tell me where openspa 7.4 keeps the image backups please i cant find them....

HDMI on one box only the video works on red/yellow/red cable..how can i get hdmi to work again??

pretty simple really opened box disconected hard drive unplugged everything ...put new image on a usb key plug it in the back usb port plug in the power cable only..
switch on power box will now update from the usb drive . can't belive how simple it was....Ten told me to try it..

i briked my solo2 after installing another image woiuldnt boot up again just sit's saying"starting" and help would be grateful
one other thing box will only connect to screen from avi red/white/yellow... nothing on the HDMI....

hi i downloaded this and installed on my solo 2 on a ten´s image openpli but cannot find it ant where blue or green button or menu/plugins can someone tell me what i have done wrong it said it installed correctly

i have just got a working image with oscam emu working on it at the moment i am viewing 30w all working good but i need to add 27.5 can someone tell me how to do this please step by step on my Solo 2??
I have tried many times without sucsess so i don't know what to try i need it on oscam emu so i can run both BISS and other stuff like CCcam
Or maybe someone could take a look at mine and tell me what is wrong with it??

This means when encoding is used ,but the emulator does not supported. As today e.g when is IMGA EU on 7E encoded in Tandberg V.3.
I have also message at bottom "no parse cannot emu".
Cheers bud oddly enough it says no parse cannot emu and then on most channels it does it?? as i said i haven't got a clue with this stuff .....LOL

I am just try to get Oscam emu to work on my solo 2 running a version of OpenPle 7 I know nothing about this but would like to get it working i have installed it but when it is running it says "no parse cannot emu" now i don't know what Parse is or how i can fix it can someone help please in stupid terms i am not the brigtest here..this is a copy of the log file which i managed to find by accident LOL as i said i know nothing about this... any help please?? I am at the moment using it for 30w with maybe 28.2e and 19e in the future so any help would be apriciated.. or maybe chanbe my image to one all ready with this stuff in it and set up if anyone can recomend one,, thanks guys
