It will be installed as a plugin so it will be saved to the internal memory of the solo2.... so no you should not need to have a HDD installed in your box for you to be able to install Kodi.

Look at the attached configs to make a comparison of what you have in your own setup.... i have also attached a working opensc.conf file if you need it.

In the oscam.server file (boxid = 12345678 for example) you need to add your boxkey when using the red sky card, also the red sky card caid is 0960, the white card is 0963...

If your looking for a payserver provider then this is not the forum for you bud i'm afraid..... please read the forum rules if you have not already done so.

The best way to determine who has a local card is to have your own!!! why would you even consider a payserver when you could setup your own server with your own card for family to connect to.......

Is this still happening when you try a FTA channel?? BBC 1 for example.....

Have you got a genuine VM receiver? whats the signal strength like on that? just trying to rule out whether its a hardware problem (tuner) or cam / image problem...

First and foremost is the pole that your dish motor is bolted to plumb?? if not your wasting your time...... you will never get a signal without the basics of setting it all up being done corectly.

When you have installed the softcam and then sent your configs over to the box press the blue button on your remote to access the ViX menu where you will see softcam manager..... in here you can enable / start /stop the cam etc....

Yep thats why maxal has converted his cline to a oscam server file bud.....

You can use filezilla to ftp your oscam server file over to your solo 4K when you get it bud.... best advice i can give you is to install the linuxsat panel addon to your box which is available here: Thread: Linuxsat Panel then install the latest oscam for the solo 4K.... when you have done that ftp into your box and goto var/tuxbox/config in here replace the oscam.server file with the one that you now have after converting your c line to oscam. When you have done that then start oscam and you should be up & running....

The file to flash Blackhole onto your solo4k is attached to post #1 in the thread i linked you to.....

if you want the easy option with everything already done for you then flash on this backup: Black Hole 3.0.2 Vu+ SOLO 4K KODI 16.1 Jarvis backup by master G .......

Time, learning & patience is always needed.

Yes it is possible to flash your solo 4K with the Blackhole image.... you can find the latest image here: Thread: Black Hole 3.0.2 Vu+ Solo4K

To backup your oscam configs (settings) you will need to use a FTP program like filezilla for example to FTP into the box and navigate to etc/tuxbox/config it's the folder named config that contains all your oscam files. Download this folder to your pc or laptop before you flash the reciever with a new image because once you do that all settings that are not backed up will be wiped.....

Have a look in your router for an option / setting for dlna servers.... you might be able to disable it from there.

The way CCcam is installed on your Duo2 should have no bearing on why your getting freeze or glitching issues.... the cam either installs or it doesn't. Have you tried any other emulators on your Duo2 like oscam or mgcamd just to see if you have the same result as using CCcam?

Also if your using up to date images you will need to use CCam 2.3.0 if you want to record and watch one channel at the same time....
