Hello buddy,
To make things easy for yourself start by installing TS Panel on your ultimo,I have attached the ipk file for you.
To install this on your box , use a ftp program to access the root folder,in here you will see a folder called "tmp"
Place the ipk file in here, then on your ultimo with the blackhole image, press the green button then the yellow, you will see "manual install IPK packages" select this and you should see the file you placed in tmp already there,it should start to install automatically, when this has completed restart the gui.
Ok with that done now open ts panel, press the green button, this will show you the plugins installed on your box, scroll through the list until yor find ts panel.
Select it,it will now open. Select addons, then scroll down to Linux_sat_support,open this and then you will see cam, plugins, picons etc etc
Let us know how your getting on after that

Ok bud, have a look here: Forum Gateway - Powered by DnP Firewall
Depending on what image you have reflashed you will be able to find a cam in there for it.
Your cline goes in root/etc
Have you considered using TS Panel??? makes things a lot easier for installing cams etc,you can find it here:
-
Ah ok,you mean your not clearing all the channels that you were???
If that is the case then yes it could be to do with your emulator or the N line that you have installed.
-
Have you tried installing one of the ready made channel list, available here: http://linuxsat-support.com/e2…eye-e2-settings-file.html
This is the catseye channel list, others are available though if you would prefer something different, another thing to check,in the tuner config there should be a option for "Send Diseqc" set this to "yes" I have known this to be a problem before.
-
Glad you have it sorted bud, I will close this thread now.

I would defo try another image first bud before you do anything else,i use a sandisk cruzer blade to flash my boxes with, never fails!

Hello Buddy,
Not sure if you noticed but this post by sandman was made on the 24/01/12, unfortunately he is no longer active on the forum.
First things first, please make a introduction post here: Forum Gateway - Powered by DnP Firewall
Then could you let us know what image & version of it you are using?
I would think that sandman reflashed the box or updated the image he had on it,but cant say for sure as he never made another post to say how he fixed it.

Try this version of Vix bud,i know this defo works on a solo clone.
http://linuxsat-support.com/vu…u-solo-version-2-4-a.html
When you are flashing the box make sure you use the usb socket on the front behind the cover where the car reader is.

Ok,what I would try is using the "satfinder" option in the tuner config menu,it could be that you need to make a slight adjustment to the dish either east/west using the motor.
Try moving the dish to 28e and see if it locks on to the sat,if it doesn't then try the different options with the coloured buttons on the remote to move the dish.
Let us know how you get on.

Caz is correct with his post buddy,i have edited the post now to show the password in brackets.

Is the end coming to sharing. What your thoughts on the way forward if it does end.
Buy a legit subscription :snicker:
-
The internal share that comes from your Ultimo to the solo includes all the shares from the clines in the Ultimo bud,so in effect you are getting access to the 4 shares by way of 1 internal c line in the solo.
-
You need to insert a cline in the solo bud,but the line will have the ip addy of the Ultimo in it instead of a dns address as it is being used internally.
-
I only had to plug it in once to a pc to do the initial setup, after that it's just a plug n play, it has never failed given any trouble at all.
Saying that tenda & vonets are just as good,i've seen them both working and know others that use them.
-
Hello bud,
I have used one of these with the Ultimo,it worked flawlessley, but with a duo it seemed to stop working now and again,i now use a netgear wireless adaptor with the duo and it has never given any probs whatsoever.
-
Yes bud, post the crash log if you wish.As cazuela said Seagate hdd should be fine with duo.
