Setting can always be made again bud, hopefully there is a backup on the HDD,as long as you don't initialize the HDD after reflashing the box then it should be able to be used.

Hi toothfairy,
A reflash would not do your Ultimo any harm bud,i would flash on the original image for the Ultimo first, just to give it a good clean out etc, then flash the ViX image on after that.
-
Depending on what your budget permits bud the Vu Duo will do everything that you require it too, good solid box with loads of support, worth every penny!
Our site sponsor has the Duo in stock now, have a look at these two links:
Forum Gateway - Powered by DnP Firewall
Sat-Shop.co.uk - Sat-Shop.co.uk Online Satellite and Electronics Store from Lavatronics

Glad you got it sorted it buddy,i will close this thread now.

N lines work in radar cam no probs, insert the same way you would with a cline.
-
You can use a cline no probs bud, used to have one of these and never used oscam with it,As annie12 suggested, just put your cline in the radar.cfg and it will work for you.
That's as long as you have radar installed of course. beer10

Could all members who post in this section please include the following in the details:
1. A full description of what the item is for sale or exchange.
2. The Price of the item for sale, All ads must state if the price includes postage or not. If your post does not specify whether or not postage is included it will be assumed that your asking price includes delivery. Also state to which country postage is included. Clearly state which payment methods you will accept.
3. Pictures (please include as many as possible, front/back/top/bottom and also include your forum username and the date on a bit of paper or card with the item(s) )
4. Private message and email may not be used at anytime in a live sale. All discussions including offers, acceptances and refusals should be shown clearly in the thread. Once a sale is complete you may use whatever form of external communication you like to finalize payment details etc. It is the responsibility of both the seller and the buyer to ensure that all negotiations are conducted within the thread. We insist on this rule because we need to see all the negotiations to be able to mediate a solution to a dispute.
Please do not post any of your personal details either in the initial post itself or in any replies to it,it is not a good idea to post email addys etc in the open forum.
Be aware that you have no protection if you decide to use a payment method other than Paypal.. If you do use Paypal ask the seller for an invoice, Do Not use Pay As Gift..
If you decide to purchase with a different payment method like bank transfer ask the seller for a telephone number then attempt some communication..
NO TRADERS ( The bulk selling of equipment in this section is not permitted)
Please keep in mind that the Linuxsat-support forum and staff, cannot accept any liability for losses incurred from using the Buy/Sell/Exchange section..
Many Thanks for your help with this.

What I would try first regards the command to update the epg is to go into the epg panel,in here select which provider you are using for your update each day, select this and then select settings,in here you will be able to turn off the update daily setting. When you have done this go back to the cron manager and see if that command has now been removed.
Give it a go and let us know how you get on.

Glad you got it sorted, thread now closed.

Have you tried editing the N line, remove the 1 0 from the end of it and replace with 256 as previously suggested.

You can't flash the latest 3.0 ViX image,it won't work i tried it,but the 2.3 version does work,i have it running on my solo now.
Here's a link to it: http://linuxsat-support.com/vu…-vu-solo-build-204-a.html
Just make sure you have the latest bootloader installed on your box before flashing:http://linuxsat-support.com/vu…11143-cfe_solo-2-0-a.html

Hello ynord,
Would you mind passing by introductions please: Forum Gateway - Powered by DnP Firewall
Have you tried using one of the ready made channel lists available on the forum here (catseye/sgt flipflop etc etc)
-
Have a read of this link,it's a good starting place,it's written for the duo but the uno is very similiar, you don't have to use vix but for your first image it is worth a look.
