Ok, still doesn't really tell us what image it is, probrbly flashed with the factory Vu+ firmware...
i would suggest that you flash the zero with the latest ViX image bud..... just to get you up & running the easiest way possible. I have attached the latest ViX image for you and the instructions of how to flash your receiver. When you have completed that let us know and we can go from there.
Mate like i said i just brought the box so i have no clue of even how to install an image. I know its done by usb etc but please refer me to it. How shall i exactly start.
Ok press menu/information/about..... tell us what it says on screen. ViX, Blackhole, Vti etc etc.....

hi brill image been using for a week now no problems
but when I go to channel 178 itv1hd it say tuner failed
all other channels seem ok
any ideas
Run the AUTOBOUQUETS plugin which is installed in this backup.... should bring it back for you....
FTP your picon folder to media/hdd if you are going to store them in that location.....

There is no webif with mgcamd bud...... it's not like CCcam where you can see whats going on with it from a web browser or using the buit in viewer via the blue button with Vix. Doesn't mean it's not running.

You get twin tuners for them also you have just single tuners if you have a loop connection loop = out
Yep to do it right really you will need to install two twin tuners into the duo2.... and then have a seperate feed running to each input. That way you could record any four channels at once. If you want to record more than 4 channels then your going to have to get a usb tuner as well......

Why not try ViX and find out for yourself bud???? thats part of the beauty of having a enigma2 box, you can backup your image in minutes and reflash a new one on in a very short space of time.

man this is being a headache, i have phoned and complained a few times now, and at first the refuse to pair it to the white sly plus box and after arguing for awhile they say they will do it, but still can't get sly sports etc
i have even turned off and held down the backup button until all lights come on and still not clearing ...
may have to threaten their families when calling again lol
If your still not getting sly sports etc even with your card in the white box then get on the phone to them again or using the live help is a better option on their website.... don't give up until all the channels clear that you subscribe too with your card in the white box. Then when that is sorted put your card back into your server.....
Does it come with standard fitment ?
You should be able to find that out by reading the description...... it might be quicker to send the sponsor a PM.
Should work with the ViX image bud..... Just make sure your using the latest image so that all drivers are up to date.

Yea but even Sky1 HD, comedy central HD etc are not working. Are these included as the premium HD channels?
I know the sports and movies HD were blocked but thought I had the other HD ones working on my previous f5s box.
Yep all sly HD channels are gone bud..... you can still get BT sports HD/ setanta HD/ Boxnation HD but the encryption for these are not controlled by sly.....
What made you think that these would be available??? your supplier by any chance?

Is this the premium HD channels??? like sly movies HD & sly sports HD etc??? if so they stopped a long time ago now due to new encryption methods introduced by sly......
If you have got this far on your own bud you have done well.....
To install CCcam, press menu/plugins/green button (download plugins)/press down button to softcams..... when this opens select the CCcam version you want
After that installs you will then need to add your CCcam.cfg file..... you will need a FTP program (filezilla for example) connect to your receiver and place the CCcam.cfg file which should contain your c line in to the etc folder....
Restart GUI, after restart press the blue button and then select softcam manager, highlight the cam you installed and press the blue button to enable it. Now press the green nutton to start it....
Job done!
Your box should come out of deep standby by pressing the power button behind the front cover...... you may need to hold it in for a few seconds for the receiver to respond. If you can get the box out of deep standby i would advise you reflash the image. From reading over at vu community this was a problem with the Blackhole speed up panel disabling the remote code. But as your using ViX it should not have affected you, it's even more strange that you can't reflash the box after having it turned off from the rear. When you have a usb stick inserted into the front usb slot with a new image on it are you not getting the prompt to press the power button to begin the flashing process?
