does anyone have an updated link to script please,,, im getting 404 not found
Link is now fixed.....
-
mine is the same with this image?
You don't need to intialise your HDD on this image...... you only need to mount the drive. Blue button x2 then device manager.....
-
Thanks, I just successfully repaired the card to an SD box and have regained my BT Sport channels, including the HD ones. I assume this won't let me get Sky Sports HD back since Sky won't give me entitlements to their HD channels without an HD box?
You wouldn't get Sly sports HD back regardless bud..... BT Sports does not use the newer encryption that sly added to block the HD channels from being shared.......

Remove the usb stick from your box, then plug it into a pc or lappy.....now copy any files from it you need with the exception of the picon folder. Format the usb stick to fat32. When that has completed copy your folders back over to the usb stick and then plug it back into your box, Going by the info on your profile your using openvix so that image will mount the stick again for you..... restart enigma2. Now copy your new picon folder over to the usb stick via a ftp program. Restart enigma2.
That should sort it...... (also remember to clear out the piconcache folder in usr/share/enigma2 if your starting to use a different set of picons...)
-
Thanks for that.
Why would you not want your hard-drive starting up each time to load the picons? Is it noise or to save on the number of reads to the drive?
Both......also the picon on channel change may not show instantly if the HDD has to start up from sleeping....
-
You can store the picons on your HDD buddy but everytime you change channel the HDD will need to start up to be able to show the picon.....
Best place to store picons is on a mounted usb stick....
But if you want to store the picons on your HDD then yes copy the picon folder containing the picons over to media/hdd (overwrite the one already there....)

When your flashing the box are there any other usb devices connected while your carrying out the flashing procedure??
-
Press menu on your remote.... then select Plugins, now select with the green button on your remote download plugins. Press the down arrow on your remote to select softcams. Select the version of Cccam you require and then press ok on your remote to install the cam.

I'm going to close this thread now as your initial question is now solved..... the question your asking about autobouquets you also have running over on another thread, the answer will be given over there.
-
I just tried that and updated AutoBouquets again but they still don't appear.
Do I need to have DVBSnoop installed for AutoBouquets to work?
Autobouquets does not download picons bud...... it only sorts out the order of your channel list for the region you select. Have you installed any picons on your box yet???
-
Thanks for reply - gonna take me a while to get to grips with things.
Can I update box with channel lists for other sats then - is this whats referred to as autobouqets?
regards
JonYou would be better to install a full motor channel list for your box bud..... autobouqets is only for putting your channel list once installed into some sort of order, it only works for 28e at the min.... it would give you the sly number for example on your box for that sat....
You can find Channel lists here: Enigma2 Channel List Download

Tried a few times with this image can not get European channels to clear
I put 2.1.6 on and that works ok
Has any body got a black hole image 2.1.7 with just linuxsat Adons added
I can sort the rest myself
ThanksYou can find BH 2.1.7 for the solo2 here: Black Hole 2.1.7 MultiBoot for Vu+Solo2
and you can find the Linuxsat addons Panel 1.2 to suit HD skins here: [DOWNLOAD] Linuxsat-Support Add-ons Panel
Once you have flashed a fresh install of BH 2.1.7 you can add the Linuxsat addons panel using the ipk file i linked you too very easily...... it's a subject that has been covered many times on the forum.
What way have you your tuner config setup before you flash a fresh install???
-
Have you checked that your sharing port is open ok??
-
Just want to double check with you the it's the folder named "vuplus" that you copied over to the usb stick??
If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for the solo2 and where did you get it??? if it came with Blackhole 2.1.1 flashed on it bud to be honest thats a old BH image now.....
