    Answer 1. Make a personal backup and save it to your internal HDD....when you update the image or flash a new version of Blackhole you can use the personal backup to re-load your configurations.


    Answer 2. Any plugins & addons that come with the Blackhole image will be the latest versions when Blackhole release a new version or update of their image, any addons or plugins that you add to the image you will need to update/maintain yourself.......

  • Oscam freezing

    Do you use a oscam services file so that you block all the ecms that your local doesn't open???? something you should look at if you don't.......

    Just checked my own solo2 with this backup running on it and the flash is sitting at 79%....... if after you flash it again and the flash is still sitting at 99% you could try creating a swap file to see if it makes any difference...

    Yes bud, put the four files that master G sent you in the config folder and ftp it across to tuxbox.....

    Delete the whole xbmc folder off your hdd bud, then re-flash my backup image on.... you will need to mount your HDD to the image after you reflash (blue buttonx2 and then device manager)


    But double check what davvo has told you in post#11

    The files on the HDD will stay intact even after a reflash unless you intialize it, then they will all be deleted. It could be that the xbmc file on your HDD has become corrupt, just double check that the xbmc folder is stored there and not on the root file system as this can fill up very quickly. If you do decide to do a fresh install delete the xbmc folder from your HDD first (backup any folders contained in here before you do) as a new one will be created when you flash the new image. Is the HDD mounted ok in the image?
