Your running the openpli image buddy going by the other pics you tried to upload.....

Ok download the cooltvguide IPK file.... using a FTP program transfer this file over to the "tmp" folder of your box. When you have completed that look through the openpli settings menu's for Install local extension. Enter this menu and you should have the option ti install the ipk file you have uploaded to the box....

Another common fault on the earlier sly boxes which shows a no sat signal being received on screen is a faulty power supply.... when it goes the tuners are not able to pick up a signal. You can get replacement PSU's quite cheap on fleabay...

He would not have been able to run the image he was using previously if he did not have the V3.0 bootloader preflashed. remember that bootloader was released something like two years ago, so none of the images released in that time would run without it installed.

The OP said he "thinks" he was running BH 1.7.2 what if it was an earlier version???

Ok the clues if it is a clone would be a sticker on the rear or the underside of the box with Ferrari or similar on it..... we need to know if it is an original before we can offer any support, we don't offer support for Vu clones due to our sponsorship terms & conditions...

Before you flashed your duo were all other usb devices disconnected? it could be a bad flash.... but if it is a clone box then be careful flashing it with an image for a original box. Most original images contain a clone bomb now...

I've never flashed a image on the zero, but I did have a solo se. The light on the front would start to flash/pulse steady (no dimming) when it was complete....

Ok when you open Filezilla in the box Host type the ip address of your duo2 (you can find this by pressing on your remote menu/information/network)

Then in the username box type root, the password box you should be able to leave blank (but if it asks for a password try vuplus) and in the port box type 21

Try that and report back to us buddy....

When you download the latest ViX image rar file and then extract the contents you should have a folder named vuplus.... it will contain the folder named zero. But it's the vuplus folder you need to copy over to your fat32 formatted usb stick to flash the box...

What dish size do you have now buddy??? there is a chance it's out of alignment..... Try as master G has suggested first, then post back and we can take it from there....

Going to need some more info buddy....

box/image/dish setup (motor or fixed) /are you using your own card to open the premium channels? or a share? what emulator?

If you want to have a full 7 day epg data for sly uk then use open tv instead of rytec buddy...

Open your crossepg settings and select Open Tv providers, in here highlight sly uk open TV 28.2 and press the ok button on your remote, a green tick will appear. Then press the yellow button to download the epg data. When that completes press the green button to save the settings...

what is new?? doesn't work for me.

    Cheers

It's version "138d" of this emulator..... have you added your own mgcamd config files for the cam to work???? the files that have been posted are not the same as the cam packs that are made up and posted which do include working configs etc that you would find in the emulator section.....

im glad, but you should mention who the original poster was "croke" for the sat side and all the others that i added for cable and making them to 8bit to save space ,you can understand why people give up when no thanks is given

Yep I agree 100% buddy, anyone posting others work should give full credit to the original author and anyone else who has maybe updated or enhanced their work...... remember that the creators of all these addons etc do all the hard work, so that others don't have too.......

It's a tough call buddy, I have seen the jet in action at the anga show in Cologne last year..... regards the picture quality on the duo 2, I have no complaints personally. The picture is as good as any other receiver I have used. What you have to consider at this moment in time is how well the jet will be supported compared to the duo2 which is now well established and supported very well by the image making teams etc

Have you tried a full restart of the box once you have attached the wifi dongle, I'm not familiar with this box at all buddy unfortunately or the images available for them..... also look through all the menu's regards networks etc. You may have to download drivers from the image feeds to get the dongle to work....

    Hi All
I have been building my own image and have found that the size of the picture is too big for the screen I am sure there is a plug in to fix this but dont know its name or where to find it

I think it's auto-resolution your referring too.... never seen it as a plugin though.
