You can install it directly from the ViX feeds to your box.....
Press menu/plugins/ then select green button, select extensions. Look through the list until you find mediaportal...

My understanding is that the ethernet cable will will need to be a crossover type and not a standard type ! Unless you use a switch between them !
Its to do with the pin outputs at the ethernet connection on each device !
Yep either a crossover cable or the only other choice is a crossover adaptor used with a standard patch cable....

If you highlight version 138 can you not press the blue button to enable it? this will put a green tick in the box beside it.... then highlight 135 and press the blue button to disable it....
Are both versions of mgcamd installed on the box????
Press the blue button on your remote and then select softcam manager.... have a look at what cams are already there.

Connect one cable to Tuner A, connect the other to Tuner B......
Then menu/setup/service searching/tuner configuration..... then set each tuner according to your setup.... fixed/motor etc etc

Never tried this myself .... but if you know how to do it when using CCcam alone I would try editing your c line (in the cccamd file) in the same way when using it with mgcamd......

Can you try a different FTP program from what your using now? just to see if that makes any difference......
Can you connect by telnet? if so type passwd then follow the on-screen instructions.....
Try a router reboot as well buddy...... did you have a password set for the image BH 2.1.4?
Have you tried vuplus as the password?
Why don't you post a startup log of oscam with the sat feed removed...... let's see what is going on before you decide to sell your duo....
well at the min in my dreambox I don't need the box key and using oscam/cccam backup image and its allways bin ok so all them files iv downloads from the link should be ok when I put my details in.

The reason you don't need to add your box key is because you are using oscam to read the card which works out the boxkey itself.... nano was explaining to you in an earlier post that if you were to use cccam alone then you would need to add the boxkey and set the card reader speed....
If it is a solo 2 se then it is definitely a clone...... there is no such box as a original Vu+ solo2 se.
This forum does not offer support for Vu clones.... so there will be no support available for your box, unfortunately if you have flashed your solo2 se with a backup image for an original solo se you will probably have killed it......
