Alright mate calm down, why don't you tell us how you have the opentv configured to begin with.... then we can go from there
You gave up on crossepg because you said it was losing data etc, if it's setup correctly and set to update everyday I don't see how that could happen tbh....
This is how I have cross epg configured in BH when using coolman...
menu/setup/crossepg/configure mine is set to save to usb stick @ 06.30 everyday
when that is done I goto openTV providers... select sly uk open 28.2 (press ok to put a green tick beside it) then press the yellow button to download the data. Then press the green button to save.
And that's it.....
sorry ii was wos i tried to e-mail 3 times with no answer, will know go and buy from another shop that gives better customer suport.
Did you try using the contact form on their website buddy: http://www.world-of-satellite.…route=information/contact
Give this a try first, their customer service is usually excellent....
Yep that's what it should look like, but in the options for service type if I select "Host with ip address" that's all I can do.... it doesn't show the ip of my box...
Below that where you have "IP address" if this is different to the "your current location's ip is xx xxx xxx xx" click on the current location ip and this will change the box above to make it the same. Then click on save changes at the bottom....
The updater should only show your ip which is provided by your isp... If the ip of the box your running your server from is changing then this is something different all together. You would need to set the ip addy allocated to your box in your internal network so that it becomes static, you should be able to do this through the router.
Hello phoenix,
This thread had to be closed, as after you had made the initial post a couple of other posts were made in response that quite frankly were of no use to this forum other than to try and stir things up... there is no need for it here and nobody wants it either, I took the steps of deleting the posts that were not relevant to the thread.
The changelogs & updates are of use here and we would like them to continue.
I would if I could buddy, I don't have a duo anymore.... sorry
From the last time that it was working fine, have you installed any new plugins or made any changes since then?
Did you try a full restart of the box?? still the same after that?
Hello buddy,
1. Yes, make sure you backup all your cam configs before you do anything else. Unfortunately going from ViX 3.0 to Helios a settings backup is not compatible from the image. If you had been going from Zues to Helios you could have used a settings backup.
2. Just make sure before you flash the new image to your box that any usb sticks you may have plugged in at the rear of the box are removed....
Good Luck!
Your old SD box will be fine for pairing the card to, but as you say you will not have any HD channels by using this method. But at least it will allow you to get your card up and running in the solo2. Good luck!
You can buy a genuine solo2 from our forum sponsor here buddy: http://www.world-of-satellite.…-Linux-Satellite-Receiver
And yes you will need to put a dish up if you don't have one already.....
Hello buddy, you do realise there is no such thing as a free cccam server... They are payservers that give you a line for 24hrs to get you to sign up. If your going to go down this road then i hope you read the forum rules before making this choice...
Did you add your own CCcam.cfg file to the etc folder??? you need to have a line for a share or the card for the provider that you are trying to watch. The cam alone won't open channels buddy....
Is this a genuine solo2 or a clone buddy?
One thing you could try, flash on the original Vu duo image. Then try to flash on the Vix zeus image again...
