Hi, the original box is a DRX890-R, would this post a problem regarding the new pairing method?
Yep your card has been hit buddy..... Have a read of this thread: http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=54044&page=3

Sorry I forgot to mention it, but my CCcam.cfg file is already in my /etc folder.
Yet still I am getting the error message.
Ok when you install another cam your cccam cfg file will be overwritten, so you will need to add it again...
Also before you install another cam from the link posted to you by master G, FTP into your box and go to usr/softcams in here delete any cams that are already installed and then do a full reboot of your box before trying to install another....

Try flashing the box with a different image all together, blackhole for example just to see if it can be loaded...
If that works then try flashing it with the last Vix zeus 023 which I have attached for you.
-
Try removing the whitelist and also the boxid from your oscam server file, see what happens. If it is still the same then depending on what sly box the card came out of you have as already said been hit with the new pairing system....

You should be able to change the language through the image:
Press menu on your remote, then select setup (kurulum) then select system (sistem) then select language (dil) you can then select English from the list....
-
Forum sponsor should be able to help you out there buddy, failing that fleabay....

If you can afford another £9 on top of the £280 you already have then go for a Vu Solo2 buddy, you will not be disappointed!

Is it the latest version of Vix you have installed buddy? zeus 023?
If so you can install a cam from within the image itself now, press menu on your remote then select plugins... press the green button to download plugins, you will see a option for softcams. in here you can install CCcam straight to your box. Then all you have to do is add your CCcam cfg file to the etc folder and start the cam through softcam manager.

Ok buddy, as long as it's sorted that's the main thing. Thanks for letting others know how you fixed it.
I will close this thread now.

Yes you can do that, one of the coloured buttons on your remote when cool guide is running should be allocated to "guideswitch" press this and you will see the different variations of the guide available.. if a button has not been allocated then goto your plugins menu and look for cooltvguide settings. You can configure it in here.

Have a read of this thread: oscam adding clines

Have a look at these:
http://www.world-of-satellite.…ctagon-Linux-HD-Receivers
good box for the money and they are open source, so you can add cams etc...
-
No issues with the search at all here, in fact it's never been better since it was changed to being powered by google... imo
-
ok buddy, the bin files from the link you posted are good enough and will work.... but as you already mentioned with the BH image if you do a manual update of oscam and look in the blue panel you will still see the old version showing even though you know that it has been updated... this is one for the BH devs I would think.

Not sure what cam pack that was you have installed bud, remove it and pick a oscam ipk from here...

Press the button your remote that has a small R with three horizontal lines beside it, this will take you to your recordings.
