    BIS TV as buchet are also located on the east and 13 are visible with a cline and ccam 221 or 230 , pultroppo you have blocks because of ecm that sometimes are very high , it would be best to use a oscam instead of ccam

    But the server would need to reading the card with a Viaccess Secure CAM - Oscam and CCcam do not decrypt the channels, at least, not with my local card.

    And I've tried with C Lines but with no luck - same with Canal Sat. So if someone can confirm they have clear either BIS on 13E (Hotbird) or Canal Sat on 19.2 (Astra) with a C Line, then please kindly confirm here!

    I think BIS TV is down on Hotbird AND 5W. Oscam can no longer clear the channels with a local card although it can read it and show the entitlements. At the moment you need a "secure" Viaccess CAM to clear the channels using a card.
    Also, it is not working as a client on these channels (BIS) neither on much (or all) of Canal Sat.

    Presumably both boxes are connecting to a remote server - one box will kick the other off if you use the same C Line on both at the same time => freezing.
    How is each box connected to the internet (eg. wired or wirelessly)?

    Try running Oscam on the Fergusson and see if that freezes too.

    Hi.
    Just come over from CCCam, mainly so that I can get my local card updated every month without fiddling around. Most of the following queries and observations come from looking in the Webif

    I was getting this error in the log:

    "c (dvbapi) ERROR: ioctl (CA_SET_DESCR_MODE): Invalid argument"

    but searched and found this fix -

    oscam.conf

    [dvbapi]
    extended_cw_api = 2

    Can anyone tell me what that does and means versus OE2.2 which is the other option.

    :::::::::::::

    What is the "Stream Relay" and how does it differ from DVBAPI

    :::::::::::

    "emulator" shows up as a reader - anybody give me an explanation of what is going on here?

    ::::::::::

    in my live log I see, for example

    "(ecm) localuser (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx): found (834 ms) by xxxxxxxx (#/1/2/2)", where # = P or L or F etc.

    What do the letters and the 1/2/2 mean?

    So far am very happy playing with this great piece of software - thank you to the developers and helpers here.

    But you can get Bein Sports on a "normal" BIS card as an add-on, IIRC.

    Some questions about this card on Hotbird 13
    h**p://www.sateuropa.co.uk/cart/images/products/large_1101076_bistv.jpg

    1)Wich channel zap for receive the entitlements?Bein sport 1,2 or
    other?
    2)Someone has get it working on Oscam?Can post config files?

    Thanks

    Entitlements should come in on any BIS channel, but Chasse Et Peche is normally recommended for some reason.

    Try this to read your card (change device to the correct format)

    [reader]
    label = Top Slot
    description = BIS
    protocol = internal
    device = /dev/sci0
    caid = 0500
    detect = cd
    mhz = 500
    cardmhz = 357
    ident = 0500:42800
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2

    PS cccam does it out of the box, but won't update your card (Scam will)

    Try using "42800" instead of 042800".

    Or simply try this:

    label = Top Slot
    description = BIS
    protocol = internal
    device = /dev/sci0
    caid = 0500
    detect = cd
    mhz = 500
    cardmhz = 357
    ident = 0500:42800
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2

    1. Yes, kind of - depends on what image you run and what plugins you install.
    2. Enigma 2 Box, preferably with a Broadcom processor.
    3a. hmmm, fairly safe unless you go tell everyone you're doing it or your brother-in-law shops you etc...
    3b. hmmm, you go to jail for theft/fraud?

    My JSC subscription expires at the end of the month and with me only getting JSC 1 - 4 on 13 east I'm in the market for a new viewing card to run in my VU Duo + using CCcam 2.1.4.
    Can any members recommend a replacement ?
    I was looking at BIS TV France Panorama Card 12 Months Viaccess Card......But I'm open to suggestions.

    Thanks in advance.

    Why would you want a BIS card? - only reason to have it is to watch French horseracing, IMO.
