  • Cloud Box 2

    Hey guys, so been using one of the slybox f5s boxes running as a client box off my server in the bedroom but it crashes all the time even after flashing the box numerous times so heard the cloud box 2 is a cheaper decent box as havent got the money for a vu duo+. So my question is how do I put an image?? on the box. Not sue completely what to do so any help would be appreciated. From what I have been reading it needs an enigma2 image, ideally openpli?? and plugins for different features. Is there a file I can download, put onto usb and install everything from that? Hope I have explained my situation correctly, thanks for any help guys :)

    Ive got a galaxy 3000HD that I won on ebay on ebay for £2.12. Looking at putting a new firmware/image but not sure what file I need. Anyone suggest how I go about it?

  • Virgin Super Hub

    Hey guys, ok so currently on sly broadband but since been advised that sharing through sly broadband can throw a few curve balls and best change isp. So the day came today and virgin came out, installed broadband with a nice shinny router with funky blue lights, lol. Still got sly broadband until ive set everything up correctly. Just wondering if anyone has been in the same boat as me and can offer any assistance or point me in the right direction.
    My setup at the minute is I have an ubuntu server on 12.04.3 and seperate computer with cs studio to manage server and oscam for card reader. So know ive gotta access the virgin router settings and try setup a static ip address for server (should I make it the same as it is now, ie 192.168.0.10? or is there a better way to do it). Ive gotta open a port, guessing its the same port as ive opened on sly? Once done, is it a case of connecting server and other computer to virgin and presto or have I missed something?
    Cant help but feel like ive gotta do something with my dns account?
    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated guys.

    Where would I find the new tier mate, guessing in oscam but still showing 18 entitlements just as before but cant seem to locate anything that indicates television x has been added. Not as up to speed as all you guys so please be gentle with me :)

    Hey guys, so I can confirm that the Thomson DSI8215 box is a winner. Called *** last night at 10:30pm. Just told the woman box had fallen off shelf and broken so got an old box from my sister. She said the box is dated and should be using a more up to date box to benefit from all of the *** sevices. Said its the multiroom box in my daughters room so not really bothered about all the services only the premium channels for my daughter, she asked me the serial number from the box and viewing card and paired it for me. Took card from Thomson box, plugged into server and with help from Ten Below I have all premium channels that im subscribed to, ie sports, movies and the HD ones aswell. Anyone in my position and needs help just give me a shout, no guarantee I can help as still finding my feet but will try. Just gotta see to my daughter but will be back on later guys. Whoooooo

    Hey guys, me again. Ok so gonna give it one last shot, fingers crossed, lol. Picked a Thomson HD box up DSI8215 and going to call sly tomorrow to try and pair my multiroom viewing card. My question is when I try pairing the card to the thomson box is there anything I shouldnt do, ie connect the box to the net. Should the card be in the box while im on the phone to them or maybe in my server? Anything you might think I would need to know before making the call would be appreciated, thanks.

    Thanks, good idea. Try keep the porn card subscription away from the mrs, lol. Ya just like mckee25 says I will accept a line with no reshares and will be open to get any card that an interested party is interested in, if that makes sense. Hope to hear from you guys.

    Hey guys, so ive been trying to setup a server to cardshare my 5ky subscription with family with the hope of reducing all our monthly bills, know it sort of goes against the rules :( After having tons of help from this site, especially ten below, Master G and a few others ive realised that its not going to happen as my 5ky subscription card is paired.
    My question, cheeky as it might be is if anyone would be willing to share their card with me? Ive got an openbox that is connected to a 5ky dish but only getting the basic channels on it atm. if anyone would be willing to give me a Cline I would really appreciate it, plus I could cancel 5ky and save a load of money each month :)
    Please dont take me wrong guys, just tight at the mo.
