I need your help with Oscam manager 3. I did everything you said but it's only CNBC channel that opens but pvu channels on intelsat 20 c band 68.5E did not open. How can I make it to open? My regards.
I do not have the satellite I have only the satellite hotbird astra 19 Channels operate without problems

Now that I've managed to get OpenPLI installed on my MECOOL KIII Pro, which forum should I use for asking questions - OPENPLI or MECOOL?
I have it working but need to add OSCAM and need advice on any recommended plugins.

I watched the video but it is not very clear about which files you need to get and from where, although I did manage to successfully install it.
Not sure of the latest version though... or how to tell what I'm currently running.

I have a TechnoMate TM-NANO 2 Super running OpenATV.
It is a used unit so am not sure how it was set up. I'd like to start again from scratch with bouquets but am not sure what would happen if I delete (move) my existing bouquets. I'll look at your suggestion and see if it helps.

I think is not necessary, and you do if you wish. If there is any new channel or transponder I usually scan transponder
and add it manually in list, that mean I use manual scan. No need to rescan afterwards.
Is it possible to run a rescan from a telnet command line?

- enigma2 – this is the base command for enigma2 boxes, only use this command if you know what you are doing… a useful command for use is (enigma –help-all)

Can anyone point me to a tutorial on bouquets?
I bought a system some months ago with bouquets already set up, but I'm not really sure how they work. I would like to start from scratch and add my own as I need them.
Can I just delete (or move) my bouquets and create them one by one?
And where can I find a description of the format of "/etc/enigma2/bouquets.tv"?

Since Tvheadend and oscam are used together but don't need to be on the same system would there be and ad/disadvantages in having them on seperate systems?
No problems, work fine on separate systems.
But does it help take the load off Tvheadend if oscam is on a different system or does it provide an additional overhead?

What you want is a complete Oscam lesson.
Oscam is very complicated and yes I would like to see an explanation and tutorial. I have spent many hours looking for one without finding one.
Under Config there all these settings
And each can have over 20 settings. For instance, how do I know what Boxtype to choose under DVB-Api if I'm using a Mecool KIII Pro, or how do I know if I should select AU ?

I just wanted basic instructions in how to set it up, ie which oscam config file is used to talk to tvheadend.
In tvheadend you need to provide client name, IP address, port, and mode. Do they all need to correspond to settings in one of the oscam config files?
