Has anyone come across a good tutorial fot Tvheadend?
I have it set up and got it to scan 1000's of channels, but could do with some help on creating channel lists and figuring out how to get the most out of it.

2. PVU Core Backup for Coreelec 8.95.5
: K1 Plus , K1 Pro , K2 Pro , K3 Pro
Anyone Need PVU Core Backup File Please tell me
Where can I find latest Backup for K3 Pro?
Yes but first disable the running services.
Please read this thread before ask. Maybe your questions, has been answered already.
It seems that I completely misunderstood how to install this system.... After reading this several times
Libreelec/Coreelec PVU Core for Mecool K1 - K2 - K3 - S905 - 912
I'm begining to see what is involved....
As I understand it, I copy one of the backups - (tar files) to the /storage/backup directory and do a restore from there. Is that correct?
Should I extract the tar file there or just copy it?
Yes but first disable the running services.

I couldn't find a way of installing tvheadend43... I copied it but it didn't show up under services
How do I install these? Do I just copy them into /storage/.kodi/addons ?
I've managed to install CoreElec on my Mecool KIII Pro but am having difficulties getting it configured for watching TV... Having said that I've just managed to get 150 Channels listed although not really sure what I did - very much trial and error including many errors....
Now how do I go about descrambling the scrambled channels? I assume I do this via TVheadend, but no TV Adapters show up when selecting DVB Inputs.
Looks like this is going to take quite a while to get working properly.
Can I install oscam? Are there any instructions?
Where do I get the latest image?
Any instructions for installing latest CoreElec on Mecool KIII Pro?
Does this Enigma image contain oscam/cccam or do I need to install it separately?
After numerous attempts I finally got it installed.... I think the problem was knowing how long to keep the power button pressed.
Presumably the system runs better with a faster SD card. What would anyone recommend? Speed and capacity?
I did have a few problems... but got it working eventually.
For some reason the scan did not find TVP INFO on Hotbird although I can watch it on Android.
I'd trying to update firmware and managed to get a number of boot options which include 'Apply update from ADB/EXT'.
I have no idea what this means or what option to choose from this menu. I'm trying to follow Need 2018 firmware for mecool kIII pro

If it does not come out after restarting, unplug the power and plug it in again.
Thanks for the reply. I tried following your instructions as best as I could but I end up with 'No Signal' on my TV.
Not sure what 'if you have kIII to replace the dtb.img with this in your sd' means so did not do that.
I'm assuming I should use a Micro-SD card and insert it in the TF slot...
The card contains three files aml_autoscript, boot.img and dtb.img on the FAT partition and I also see a 384 MB Linux partition so expect that the card has been correctly created.
Previously I installed this custom ROM so I don't know if this had any bearing on the problem.

Do I need to upgrade to upgrade to the latest firmware first? On another thread it mentions this:-
Need 2018 firmware for mecool kIII pro
I have KIII Pro-userdebug 7.1.1 NHG47L 20171013.164429.V0619
and this link is to KIII_PRO_AVL6862-NHG47L-20180908.182748.V0213 . I tried upgrading to that but was unsuccessful.
Should I be able to install this custom rom?

Can someone tell me what this does? I have a K III Pro and wonder if it would give me anything...
If you want to install Kodi in Android then download it from Playstore. Otherwise, you may try latest release of CoreELEC for S912 chip which is based on Kodi 18.
I tried to download it from Playstore but my password had expired or somesuch....several hours later I managed to recover it and now have Kodi 18 along with Enigma2-PVR !!!
Thanks for the reply, but I don't think a file called kodi-20170523 will contain Kodi 18 which has only recently come out...
Does anyone know if KODI 18 leia is available MECOOL KIII Pro?
It has am AMLOGIC aarch64 cpu, and I can't anywhere to download it.
Display MoreIs it possible to change channels from the command line?
open command line, type:
help
and a full list of possible commands will be presented to you, then try find the one you require.
Since I don't know if such a command actually exists, typing
help
is not very useful. Most of the commands shown don't mean anything to me.
