fairbird I would have to properly test the plugin to push some commits.
I was just speed reading your code to try and determine why sarsan was having skin size issues.
What I highlighted above was just the potential fixes.
There maybe other underlining issues.

fairbird , does new virtual keyboard now install subsupport plugin if it is not installed ? i noticed the script is for SubsSupport 1.2.0

(In current imagesthis is already set when you select a language, so there is no need to reset it.)
-Fix ssl error with some (turkish) LC_CTYPE
(On OpenATV 7.1 an individual file LC_CTYPE is used for each language. On turkish this cause ssl error unable to find public key parameters.
Thefore add workaround which changes locale LC_CTYPE to default en_US while using the plugin.
In fact this should be fixed in the image, but for now, while there is no clear reason, I will leave this here.)

Ncam V13.1 will only work on open based images.
There is a need to implement that ECMs come through DVBAPI otherwise it won't work on DreamOS, NN², etc. .
Must be edit on enigma2 source .. Opendreambox team should be do that same as open source image.
