Jedi is not a player, Plugin only creates the bouquets. You can try diffrent servicetypes.

Also you use a none DreamOS image and Pli does not support Dreamboxes like the dm900/920uhd
So you depend on the custome image builder to keep all the feeds up to date with patches.
If anyhting changes to for example serviceApp and you are using serviceType 5002
Then all can stop working.
Username is root and password is dreambox but you should change the password to something personal for safety

So choose the one with the highest valur then you are sure you have the latest build/version

I have rolled out an PP Software update and now your plugin do not crash anymore
But I have to ask. Should it be an option to assign "Help button" on any of the colour buttons for the BT Remote?

You are correct we have or own Button assignment for the green button in PP settings.
Also the BT Remote does not have the Help button. So this colide with the plugin from Dreamy.
But if you change the RC in the PP RC Setup plugin to the RC-20IR remote then the Dreamys plugin will work just fine.
I will update the PP RC Setup plugin later this week so you it will also be compatible if you have selected the RC-20BT remote
Even if you chose the IR and not the BT remot. It still will operate in BT mode

In your case install the plugin on your dm800v2
In the server settings assign the ip address from your dm920 with the username root and if you have added or change the password for ftp
on your dm920 you need to add that also to the server settings in the plugin on your dm800v2
Been sometime since I played with this plugin. But you should find it somewhere in the menus where you do service searching.
You should use the ip address to the box you are sharing from in the plugin
If you have a password on your dm 920 you must also enter that or else it's just user root needed
Just install git 45 version that is enought
If you try with your dreamboxes you do not need any chromcast device.
I would suggest you try the dm800hd v2
