So he/she has for a longtime hade a built in, well lets call it a "Kill List"

So any plugin with names like Panel, Golden, Open, Tunisa, Manger Barry, Allen and a lot more that I don't rember; They will conflict with all of his/hers plugins. And his/hers plugin will automatic remove them all with no future notice.

If you already have one of the plugins installed and they are on the "Kill List" his plugin will commit suicide and remove them self from your STB.

This is just the way he/her has solved it. Like it or not but that is just how it's working.

Open GUI settings. And look for History button setup.

Choose menu and you get the same history zap meny as in your screen. Only better looking with the amazing estuary skin

Just as info. In this deb package i have renamed the update.py to update.bak.

If you want updates then rename the .bak to .py and restart Enigma2

Uninstall service app, take the update then re install serviceApp, and poof it's gone and all works just fine

You can use the same Oscam for your obh 4.4 image as you do with your current.

Just copy your configs, camscripts and bin file from your current OBH image

And insert to your OBH 4.4 image and all will work just fine

Yes or you can stick to the OBH 4.4 as your main image. For you as a user there is no diffrence if you use a python 2 or python 3 image.

And the benefit of running a python 2 image is that all plugins works just fine

You are not using both images at the sametime. OMB boots one image of your choice. And it is that image who are going to be active,

So make sure you export your epg to an external location like your usb or hdd so you can access the epg files from OBH 5

You can do that. Install OBH 4.4 it's python 2 based image and run from OMB.

Nope he does all removing with cmd. And if it can't be removed then he kills his own plugin and locking your Image

so you can never install his feeds plugin again ;)

Only work around if this happen is to flash a new image and not restore any settings. Then you can install his feeds plugin again.

Well then I am back and have fixed the issue reported about the Shell In A Box.

But another more complicated issue have emerged. Gutemine have added OpenWebif to his list of Plugins not allowed when you use any of his.

So you can just fine install the upgrade to fix all problems. But if you install Gutemines Feeds plugin the OpenWebif is deleted.

At the moment this is no big deal for OE 2.5 users since he already has removed almost all support for those boxes.

But if you use a Dreambox One or Two then poof OW is gone as soon as you install hes feeds plugin.

So I am not sure how much work i will put into this at the moment.

But here is the upgrade package for those who are aware that your OW is gone if you install gutemines feeds plugin.

You need to create a password for user root

Don't rember in what menu for PLi but I guess it's Network maybe.

Just look around in the menus and when you find password. Set a new password of your choice :)

And some images also allow you to ligin with through the telnet. If you can do that without a password. You can create one with this commads.

Step one. Open Telnet connection with Putty/Dcc or any other terminal software. Make sure you chose "Telnet"

Step two. Login as user root

Step three. Type command passwd and hit enter on your keyboard

Now type the password you want to use and hit your enter button again.

Now retype the same password to save as you new password.

Now when you want to login use that password and all should work just fine

Well you have to look at this in another perspective. Dreambox Or DreamProperty as the name of the company has changed to.

Is providing the hardware (Your Dreambox stb) and also the software including the build enviroment.

So any Team can choose to build and Image for Dreambox if they want. Like they did for your older dm900UHD

None of those Team are providing the hardware, They just chose to build on the OpenAlliance build enviroment instead.

Only Vu+ provides the same. The hardware (Your Vu+ stb) and the software. But only Blackhole and VTI has chosen to build images based on the vuplus software and build enviroment.

So in the end it is all up to the Image building Teams to choose what and for what hardware they want to provide their images.

But they can all do it if they want.

This is the same for thirdpaty plugin developers. They are free to choose what platforms they want to support.

Then we have the long ongoing nonsens about DreamProperty use closed source. Yes this is true when it comes to the c++ enigma2 code.

But everything else is more open source then any other build enviroment. And changes to the Enigma2 source code just needs to be addressed the proper way. And they will be implemented by Dream Developers. This happen pretty often to be true. Special for the latest OE 2.6 build.

Nope plugin author is Gutemine and he has dropped all support for none Dreambox devices.

Probably not since the plugin is some years old. But if you have OpenBH or Blackhole installed in OpenMultiboot you can use from those images

And you exported EPG should work just fine with any image

There is a plugin named EPG Export that might be usefull. Have never used it my self.

And plugin does not work on python3 images

This is the problem all developers have when they try and cover as many images and OS as possible. And as Info the python-backports-lzma module is not installed by default in the base image of DreamOS.

There is other ways of solving the dependency issues if you look into plugins like XC, Xstreamity and Jedi. They are multi python and multi OS

Most DreamOS users who install EPG Import do this after they have installed one of the above named plugins, Therefor they already have the module you need for your EPG Import mod. So 100 downloads without issues maybe is true, But also a bit of luck :)

My post was not for you. It was for the author. It's a standard that you allways add the dependency into the install script (control) file of any install packages. To avoid missing modules for the users :)
