AJPanel Enigma2 Tools - discussion & support

Great Update !!! :)

In former Releases I saw Pictures from an Auto-Update Function in AJPanel, but I've never found it on myself. Was it removed in newer Versions?

If not, could you please tell me where it is located?

And: If it is removed, can I just Overwrite the old installed Version (v3.30) with the new IPK with the "opkg install" or "opkg install --force-overwrite" - Telnet-Command.

Or do you suggest to better remove the old version completely and make a "fresh" install of the new one? Thanks in Advance !!!

Update from plugin still exist but need update file which contain link in panel backup folder, feature activated on panel setting

or you can use code it's already updated to last version

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/biko-73/AjPanel/main/installer.sh -O - | /bin/sh

When trying to install the new Version 4 (DEB), not only did it not install, but it also uninstalled the previous one.

I tried to perform the update with: "wget https://raw.githubusercontent.…AjPanel/main/installer.sh -O - | /bin/sh", but it didn't work.

Over TELNET, I forced the install with: "dpkg -i --force-overwrite /tmp/*.deb", but it didn't install either.

It doesn't appear in Extensions or Plugins.

Nothing. Does not exist!

How to solve?

I await suggestion. Thanks.

Delete ajpanel first completely and then install again and see is it present in plugins and then do this telnet command dpkg --configure -a

I didn't understand "panel folder backup on external".

I transferred the "ajpanel_update_url", unzipped it and put it in:

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/AJPan

I restarted Box.

I opened the AJPan, but I don't find the "Update AJPanel" Option.

What am I doing wrong?

One of the basics on which the panel was designed is to create a folder on the external memory, whether it is a hard disk or flash memory

This folder is indicated in the panel settings

And the backup for channels, tuners and softcams are kept in it, as well as their restoration

The color file for the panel, as well as the update file, is also placed in it

So it can be used on different images

Sorry, but I'm facing a "dilemma". I am not succeeding.

I have set, in Settings, the Path /media/hdd to the Backup/Restore Path option.

But, in /media/hdd there is no such Folder, configured in Settings.

But the most worrying thing is that I don't have the "Config. Options" panel.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I await your opinions.

ok, let's do it on 3 step

1- get the file named (ajpanel_update_url) from Participation #132

2- create folder named as you want on external memory

3- put the file inside that folder you made & refer to that folder in panel setting

then you will find it displayed on "Config. Options" as attached pic. on Participation #138

i have problem dreambox one recently installed gutemine 3.3 and now the aj panel not showing i have done what ever you recommend no succes as soon as i install the aj panel restart and crash any more suggestion when i used gutemine 2.9 had no problem
