No if you buy your subscription from Finlad of cause Yle is avalible.
But if you buy your subscription from ex Norway you can buy an extra package to open the basic Nordic channels
I have tested so all YLE Channels do work for me.
But not MTV 3 for MTV 3 you need a Finnish subscription card
I have not watched the Finnish channels for some time but looks like still work without CI+ module
You can buy an extra package that open the those channels no matter what country you live in.
It's correct there is no Certified Android version for any Enigma2 boxes. And therefore lot's of Provider Apps does not work
And also if you lucky to get some of the Streaming apps to work. They only run in SD.
Vu+ has a very nice Android box with a certified Android version.
The YAY GO PRO Box. Full Support as with any Smart TV for streaming apps.
You can aslo get for example Dream Player TV app and stream all your channels from your satellite box.
Get your self a good satbox with or without Android support.
Buy a cheap firestick or some other android device to stream with or even better
Buy a new SmartTV and you get it all :)
Hi this is the Nordic section so we are suppose to communicate in our Nordic language, But I do accept English as your question is legit :)
Those channels you are asking about, SVT 1/2 NRK 1/2/3 YLE 1/2 do not need any CI+ module and will work just fine with a card and Oscam.
But if you want to use a CI module it can be almost any Conax module.
All Nordic channels has moved to 0.8 west. So nothing left on the 4.8/4.9 satellit and those still there don't work.
But you can't get buy a subscription if you don't live in none of those countries.
And you can only get a subscription from the contry you live in.
This is not my EPGImport plugin. But the saving with Bluebutton should work just fine even if it's not showing.
Just press the Bluebutton and se in your tmp folder if there is a log file created

When ever DreamOS does not find the epg.db file eEPGCache is automatic cleared and a new epg.db file is created.
But I have not looked into your modification of EPG Import for DreamOS and how you have solved this.
But just empty the eEPGCache want solve a broken epg.db file.
It will only restore the broken data back into the eEPGCache.
If it's DreamOS (OpenDreambox) image you are using? Then there is no epg.dat file.
Epg file in all DreamOS based images use epg.db extension.
File can be found in /etc/enigma2/
So if you need to clear your epg.db file if it has been corrupted you have to do it manual with this plugin

Over all my years with this hobby I have never read about someone wanting a DreamOS (Dreambox) Image for a Vu+
But as MasterG allready wrote they are not compatible at all.
You can't have a factory or DreamOS image in your box at the moment. Else you would have this option.
You can put the box into Flash mode by shutting down rhe box (Deep Standby)
After shutdown turn off the power with the switch on tha back.
Wait about 30 seconds and then follow this steps.
Turn on the power switch on the back and as soon as you done that.
Press and hold the front tuch button pressed ubtil you see in your lcd display a big ! sign
Now you can release the button and your box goes into flash mode.
IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never press the go button for flashing without first uncheck the 2 boxes for backup and restore settings!!!!!!!
Make sure you do not backup an restore any setting!!!!!
For question number 2 the short answer is No there is no softcam avalible for any Enigma2 boxes that can decode those channels.
They can only be view with a CommonInterface with CI+ protocol and a valid subscription card.
If you open Main Menu and from there open Standby & Restart you have no menu entry to put your box into Recovery Mode???
You must put your box into recover mode :)
Go to shutdown menu and choose Rescue Mode from that menu.
Your box reboots and now it starts in recovery mode. And can be flashed.
Just make sure to always uncheck the 2 boxes for backup and restore settings!!!
You never want to mix settings between images from the flash tool.

Yes and with an separate Android Device you only need to switch input source on your TV to chose between the OS
And that is about the same as having them on your box. And be able to boot both OS at the sametime.

When it comes to Android. No box can just switch on the fly between E2 and Android without a reboot.
They both are full so no E2 boxes can boot into 2 OS simultaneous.
Not even you Computer can do that :)
No there is no Official images by any Team. But there is unofficial images. But as I said you need to be skilled to install those images.
If done wrong you have a broken box.
The closes image to what you are used to is Dream-Elite 7.1
Before Vu+ did come on the market Dream-Elite and Blackhole was one Team.
But they splitt up and some whent with Dreambox forming Dream-Elite and the others whent with Vu+ and formed Team Blackhole.
So for most users it best to start with Dream-Elite and make your self familiar with your new toy.
The later you can start testing other images. Or you might find that DE is the image you like and stick with it
After importing your source press Menu button and then choose logs
From here you can both read the log and save the log to /tmp :)
