  • IPTV Picons!

    Here is an example to maybe better explain the diffrence between Sat TV Picons and IPTV Picons


    First picon is Viasport 1 on satellite with service referance as name this is standar picon name

    Name of picon is 1_0_1_77F0_2C3_600_E080000_0_0_0.png

    This is the same picon but now it is change to service name picon instead. This naming of picon works best for IPTV

    I also see in your screenshots that you use gstreamer 5001 as your player

    and thas no problem but not all images have support for service referans picons other then regular DVB1


    So first rebuild your playlist but choose DVB1 as your player then at least your IPTV Channels will get the right

    service referance starting with 1_0_1

  • IPTV Picons!

    There is the hard way and the very hardway to do this if of cause you are not using only UK channels ;)


    The hard way is to get whats called service name picons. This means that your IPTV channels need to be named

    exactly the same as the corresponding Sat TV Channel.


    If Satname for channel is: Animal Planet HD and your IPTV Channel is named AnimalPlanet FHD the picon want work

    Then you have to change the name of the picon from animalplanethd.png to animalplanetfhd.png and it will work.


    Then you have the really hard way as described above. Assign one and one picon to one and one IPTV Channel.

    This take a long time if you have many channels. but when done you have both picons and epg working.


    For UK channels just use JediMakerXtream and choose use rytec source in settings and all picons service named (snp picons)


    I accully use jenseneverest multimega snp picons ;)

    He dont use an hdd he use an USB MemoryStick mounted as HDD if he where to use an Ordinary HDD

    i would never recommend to use that as your picon location since you are right it will spin all the time

    and create heat.

    I add folder picon to /media/hdd and upload your picons to that folder


    If your piconset is in a zip format and when extracted they allready are in a folder named picon

    then upload that folder to /media/hdd



    I mappen /media/hdd skal du skapa en mapp som heter picon om den inte redan finns.

    I den mappen skall alla dina piconer vara.


    Men om det fil sette med piconer som du använder redan ligger i en mapp som heter piconer när du packat dom ut

    så kan dul ladda upp hela mappen som denär till /media/hdd

    I am not that in to Vix image but Willo3092 Is our Vix expert :)


    So maybe he can give a better answer how to setup that Image to look for picons outside the flash memory



    Jag använder inte denna Imagen men några vet jag bara letar efter piconer i flash minnet.

    Och då kan det fixas med att du laddar hem ett sätt med piconer för HDD i din Vix meny.


    Den installerar och fixar sökvägen för dej så att alla dina egna piconer också funkar.

    Det spelar ingen roll vilket picon sett du laddar hem bara det är för HDD i ditt fall

    Your usb stick is mounted as /media/hdd/ not usb but thats no problem if you dont plan to attach a real HDD to your STB


    just opload your picons to /media/hdd/picon folder and all should work just fine. If folder picon dont exist just create one your self.



    Ditt usb minne har monterats som Hårddisk det görs automatisk när du bara har en extern lagrings enhet.

    Det i sej är inget problem,bara om du tänkt att sätta in en riktig hårddisk i framtiden.


    Du kan ladda up dina picons til mappen /media/usb/picon så funkar allt lika bra. Finns inte mappen så skapat du den bara själv.

    You might be able to find your stb through the network with your windows pc.

    If you can do that usaly hdd and usb mounts can be reach throug windows explorer.

    What image are you using?


    Most of all image has a plugin feed where you can download picons.

    Go to that download section of your image and download any piconset named usb.

    Does not matter for what satellite just choose one random or of cause the one for yours if they have one.


    After installation reboot and open with ftp your media/usb to check your new picon folder :)

    Upload your picons to that folder and all should work just great :thumbup:

    But look over your username and password for your cccam reader

    log shows a reject with wrong or unknow user.


    Please when posting logs edit and remove any dyndns address also remove any username and passwords

    Okey da har jag en Oscam for deg her :)


    Last den opp med ftp til din /tmp mappe så åpner du GreenPanel med grønn knapp

    sen åpner du AddonsPanel med gul knapp


    Velg Manual Install IPK package der finner du filen.

    Installer den og etter omstart av Enigma2 så

    går du til BluePanel med blå knapp velg Oscam og trykk på OK knappen


    Nå skal du få bilde på din TV.


    For og gjøre instillinger i Oscam så åpner du bare nettlesern din og skriver http://ip adressen til din vusolo2:8888

    Brukernamn : admin Passord: admin


    Trenger du mer hjelp så er det bare og spørre vettu :)

    With image Blackhole and OpenBlackhole we have GreenPanel

    GreenPanel is a custom Plugin Browser where you also can download plugins

    that are confirmed working for just thoose 2 images. Its not a stand alone plugin

    and would not be usfull for any other images than Blackhole and OpenBlackhole

  • VU+ Solo 2 doesn`t start after software update

    You have an fresh image downloaded as a zip file?


    If not download the one you prefer then extract the file and inside you find a folder named vuplus

    Upload that folder to your HDD and turn off your box with the power button attached at the back (Main power button

    Remove any usb memory stick if you have one attached and turn on power with the switch at the back of your box

    Now start tapping on the power/standby button on the front and flashing should start :)

    Button dont allways flash as with the usb so start tapping as soon as possible and stop when you see the flashing in the display

    Hi


    This sounds like the Flashing want start and since you can get access with FTP the box has not been proper flashed.

    Power button should be flashing and when you press it display should show that flashing is in progress

    and when done a timer in the display should count down to restart do you see that info?


    You have USB ports in the front and also in the back of your Vu+ Solo2 try to use another port.

    Second since you have FTP access you could upload the flash image to your HDD if you have one in your box?

    You can Flash from the HDD also and need no USB stick
