SLY.NEW HD Skin (V3.0)

HI all

I install this skin on my openpli image...after I install a go to select skin and is not the SKY.NEW so .. I try via telnet and nothing..I have a solo4k.

can someone help me and tell me if is something wrong or is not working for 4k boxes???

I have been trying all day to get this skin working. I have had my Vu+ Zero for a few months now and as soon as I saw this skin I decided to change image to OpenPLi. I have got all my channels back up and working apart from installing this skin.

I downloaded Dreamplex 2.1.3 and followed the instructions but now get the green screen error whenever I go into Dreamplex. This is since I selected to use the skin on the last step.

Really hope you can help me!

PM'd you. I know people have mentioned about manually extracting the ipk. Does anyone know how to do this on a mac. Or would you be able to upload as zip folders and point me where to extract the folders too. I use iDream X which is great. Think the Windows alternative is DCC.

will this work with PKT 5.1 and is it a matter of installing the .ipk after extraction and moving the fonts to the relevant folders then reboot. Is it an easy step by step process. Im using SKY HD blue skin at the min

Can someone help with the above please. I went in settings and couldn't see any place to adjust lines. I installed the skin from the Linuxsatsupportaddons from plugin manager. I Ftp'd over the adjustments to the skin ( InfoBar, second InfoBar and skin adjustment).

Sorry I should have said adjust rows, not lines. When I press menu on epg, I don't have any option to adjust rows. My date is overwriting the times on epg view7ad9102a71.jpg

also I don't seem to have description of the programme on the right hand side 2 boxes like in your screenshot. it just says what is on now but no description

yep press guide switch on cooltvguide there is only one of them that is correct

the other one is you need the correct file eventname.pyo,its either missing or not installed

use this file and ftp to usr/lib/enigma2/python/components/convertors delete the other file there ie eventname.py and eventname.pyo then ftp this file across, reboot and it should show

that's worked perfectly. OK I have the epg that works correctly. Saw people being advised to change the amount of rows and thought you had to do that.

Also can any picon plugin be used or is there a specific one which works best with this skin??

When I press the numbers for a channel from the remote, the numbers do not come up on screen, to say what numbers are being pressed. Am I missing something in one of the files to get this to show??

I had to reboot my box to factory, so I re-installed the skin and a added in the second info bar etc as previous but the colours of my epg are not the same as they were before. They were blue/yellow as per your screenshot. am hoping you can tell me what is missing

pauldb - as usual lifesaver. however when I am on a selected programme in the epg it is white. If I wanted to get it yellow like original screenshots can you advise how I change that colour. BAckground is great and is blue. in list mode all works fine and is blue/yellow, only EPG is incorrect colour.
