    Hi all,
    Help needed. Got this box yesterday with open vix preinstalled . I've set up and scanned for channels all OK with FTA clearing . I now want to install a cam and get my line on there.
    The start of the line begins N, what cam do I need ?. on my non Linux box I used a ccam and its been fine.
    I've so far followed instructions from the net and tried ccam and mgcam to no avail I'm really struggling here.

    I've tried to do this as per instructions and I keep getting an error message that I need to set up etc cfg file. Does it matter what cam I use ? Mgcam or ccam? Which version?

    Someone should have explained that when you download the emulators from the OpenVix download feed they do not come with any pre configured files you have to add these yourself before the Cam will become operational, you can find config files for the most popular cams in this section here: http://linuxsat-support.com/forumdisplay.php?f=153, N works better in Mgcamd
