Hello, its me again. After trying to configure my tuner settings and checking the satellite was OK, I came to the conclusion the the tuners on my VUsols2 had given up the ghost.
So I brought a new one from our sponsors. I flashed it with the latest VIX image and set up the tuners A advanced and B loop through to A. All connected OK then the same thing happened to my new one, which is when I put it in deep stand-by and switched it back on it said " check tuner configure".
I went back to tuner A and it said not configured, so I tried to set advanced again but were it says LNB it said 65, I tried to change this to 1 but it would not let me, just said not configured. I put my Spiderbox on to double check my sat and it worked OK. ? The only good thing is it looks like my old box was OK after all.
Can anyone suggest a solution I like the vix image and don't really want to re-flash another one.

Hello A is set to advance and B to loopthrough
-
Why are you using advanced tuner configuration? Forget the receiver settings for now.
Describe as fully as poissible what is at the other end of your cable/s
In which port is/are the cable/s connected? -
Because thats what this site recommends

Answering other part of question will be to your advantage. People descrivbe whta their tuners are set to, but do not say what is at the other end.The Solo 2 has a limitation with the internal loop through. You can loop from B to A, but not A to B. People using internal loopthrough must connect to tuner port B.

hi like abu b said if you need help you have to explain your instalation? a advanced witch raison ? ......ect

the inernal loop not okay no work you can loop from another box but for get signal the box have slaver have to be on stanbuy
-
You can use internal loop from tuner B to tuner A without a problem. Same applies to TM Nano 2 Super and 3T combo. Possibly other 7356 receivers too.
Anyway OP has flashed a different image.

Tuner A ==> Advanced
Tuner B ==> seconcd cable of motorized LNB tuner A -
Tuner A ==> Advanced
Tuner B ==> seconcd cable of motorized LNB tuner A
That is only applicable if he has two cables plugged in to the tuners. He has more than one thread about same issue, he has even bought a new receiver. The golden rule about setting up tuners is the software configuration must match the hardware configuration. People with tuner config issues are better off describing what is on the other end of the cables (including on between) too.If he is using a positioner, it is possible that it is faulty. Again this is guesswork in the absence of a desciption.

Hi, I am using a motorised set up with one cable to a universal LNB, I have tuner A connected to advance, and tuner B on loop through to tuner A
-
As sad before, the Solo 2 does not loop through A to B. If you have a single cable connected, you should connect it to tuner B. You can set A to loop through to B without a problem.
Going by this thread http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=52772&p=184230&viewfull=1#post184230 I am assuming you have A USALS motor correctly aligned to use USALS. If that is the case, you should stay in simple mode.
If your motor is not correctly alliigned to use USALS, i.e you have to store the positions of each satellite, that is one scenario wher you would use the advanced option.
