Vu+ Solo2 first time setup

I have just bought the Solo2 for a friend with OpenVix. I have a Vu+Duo which I set up a couple of years ago. Members kindly pointed me in the right direction for set up instructions but I can't find my old messages with the links. Could someone please point me to the places I need to go for initial set up and also for AutoBouquet Maker and CrossEPG. Thank you. Kev.

Thank you! I cocked up the screen sizing on the first run so the menus are hanging off the edge. Is there any way to go back and resize?

Factory reset and start again.. You should have a picture option on the TV to turn off overscan..

Ah! Before doing this, will the reset wipe the image? It came pre loaded with OpenVix and I don't want to have to flash an image.

A factory reset is exactly what it states..a reset to factory,, not to third party team images...
Therefore to try avoid all this( which in fact will be the fastest way in the long run) go into menu-settings/setup - and check screen configuration ,etc..
To find any old links ,etc, use the searchbar top right corner of this page, although I can´t find any of your older posts either..!!
Another good idea is to save backups along the way in case any more "cockups"..
