download from plugings on box
Transfer the ipk to /tmp and install by command line. This will reveal any errors and allow for fixes (if possible).
opkg install /tmp/*.ipkAfter installation, start it by command line
cd /usr/softcams/
./mgcamdreport back with any errors
The ipk i made for mgcamd doesn`t work on the latest openvix 4 or openatv 5.2.

Install attached oscam > restart enigma2 > Blue button > softcam manager > start & enable oscam > connect to the oscam web interface http://ip.of.box:8888 > Click on Files tab > oscam.server > copy/paste/save converted lines > restart oscam.

still getting nothing log says no suitable readers that can be found for decoding!?

thanks this has made me look at the oscam.server file which i'd created using the ccam 2 oscam converter it had however populated the details wrongly, i've put everything the right way round now (see image of original config) still getting channel freeze but it does keep going sometimes now and presuambly thats down to my local server thanks again Master G!!

the keep alive line is presumably what is restarting the cam on freeze can i make that number any lower for quicker restart?

ok i'd moved everyhting in to the right place anyway and oscam has seemingly modified the file to be this (see pic) and is working better than ever tbf you think i should still remove that inactivity time out from the middle line?
just been into oscam webif and that line has gone!
If you are happy with the way its working then leave it as is.. If you find it takes a few seconds to start once you have zapped on channels then try removing that parameter..
that worked a teat on my zapping channels speeded it rite up

This has has improved my solo 4k on oscam opatv 100% .i have had this box a few months now and had major probs with freezing on virgin media ..europe and and sk uk .my Head was pickled to the point of get rid of it .i have not had a single glitch in 24 hours after master G suggested trying this ..thank you sir .my Box now rocks Hope this Helps others
Ive been trying to get my mutant hd51 working all day and this thread has helped me get the channels to clear but still too glitchy. Its def not at its best. Im running latest vix image with N line and installed the oscam ipk in this thread and have oscam.server, oscam.user and oscam.config in etc/tuxbox/config. I just don't understand the config for these three files. Ive uploaded them and they are without my server details.
Ive not edited oscam.user or oscam.config at all, maybe thats the issue....

Give the attached version a try. Just add your reader to oscam.server.
Remove disableserverfilter=1 from the reader.
There isn`t much else you can configure.
If the problem persists, i would look at the server you use..
So ive installed Oscam to my VU+, the question is, where are the files located to add my line?
